That bridge is a newly built high connecting the port, diverting the cargo traffic away from daily commuters ... Really worthy project
We use centavos for denominations less than 1peso.
Her accent doesnt sounds Filipino to me ,and yes she did pronounced it right,Manda We_ Mandaue
Man-da-we`
Me also, her accent is not a typical Filipino accent if she is really Filipino. Thick Filipino accent doesn't sound like that. I might be wrong.
Cumputer voice kasi ang ginamit kaya iba accents
That's the real accent of filipino. Blame to our Spanish ancestry 😂😂
i politely disagree. Coming from Laguna we dont speak like that. she seems to have a dialect-Filipino English accent so its harder from me who’s from Calabarzon to hear it well.
My home town Davao city 🇵🇭❤️
PESOS (Spanish)
or Piso (Philippine version as tagalog of peso)
Centavos for the smaller amount
My beloved Philippines 🇵🇭❤️
The pronunciation of number 6 is really correct man-da-weh... I was born in cebu city and raised in mandaue city... So happy that my city was included 😊😊😊..
US has more cities. In the Philippines a town can become a city by satisfying 3 criteria: land area, population and income. Furthermore a law converting it into a city should be enacted by Congress.
WELCOME TO THE RICHEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD‼‼

For cents we call it centavo/centavos.
For Pesos our abbreviation for it is Php or P.H.P and for the cents we also call it cents or centavos but we pronounce it like sentabos it's a tagalog pronunciation.. Like how we count from 1 to 10 we do have spanish counting but we also have it in Tagalog spelling or pronunciation Example: (in Spanish) uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cinco, seis, siete, ocho, nueve, diez. (in Spanish Tagalog) uno, dos, Tres, kwatro, singko, sais, syete, otso, nwebe, dyes we also have:
mil = 1000
bente uno = 21
trenta’y uno = 31
singkwenta’y syete = 57
But we also do have our own numbering using our own Language which is Tagalog:
isa - 1, dalawa -2, tatlo - 3, apat - 4, lima - 5, anim - 6, pito - 7, walo - 8, siyam - 9, sampu - 10 but to be honest when I was a child my counting from one to 10 was a combination of Tagalog and Spanish Tagalog. Cause most of the Filipinos if your parents lived in a province you'll learn more Spanish Tagalog or Spanish words rather than Tagalog (the national language) most specially if your parents are native speakers of their own provincial languages. When I was a child I often mistaken that the Spanish Tagalog words I said was really not a Tagalog at all but a Spanish word I really thought it was a Tagalog word haha..
WELCOME TO THE RICHEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD❕❕
🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭PHILIPPINES🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
Example: 50 peso and 2 centavos/sentimo or 50 peso and 2 cents. here in the Philippines we count the number in three different ways ENGLISH one two three four five, TAGALOG isa dalawa tatlo apat lima, SPANISH uno dos tres kwatro sinko.
Philippine peso/ Php.
Ewan ko sayu..nag mumukha kanang tanga

Philippines is divided into 3 major Islands the Luzon Visayas and Mindanao. So 146 cities is not impossible to have. 🤗
We have different structure here. We have many small cities. Even the capital city manila is not comparable to other capital cities in terms of population and size. What is more comparable is ncr.
Sometimes its hard to give out a statement cause some fool would take it out of context. Dont mind them. You're both doing great keep it up 🇵🇭
Requirements to be a city are: Land area, population & income. City is a lone district & represented by a congressman. Town maybe composed of 3 towns ( depends on 1st 3 requirements) that represented by a congressman. So many cities means more congressman.
We used to call it either way - centavos or cents.
That Gold is Owned by our late brilliant President Ferdinand Marcos but he made the Philippines, the main beneficiary of it... 30% to the world and 70% for the welfare of the Filipino.
Mandaue city pronunciation in Filipino is MÁN-DÁ-WEH 👍

no she has a thick dialect accent. Im from Laguna, where Tagalog or Filipino is widely used. She hails from the province prolly from Visayas or Mindanao. Its not a typical Filipino accent. Filipino English accent is the typical one but not the one with a thick dialect accent.
She pronounced Mandaue City correctly and yes her accent is Filipino 😊
The wife of President Marcos I think went to the senate to ask for an assistance for the last will and testament of Marcos to be released from the hands of cronies. That's what I know based on the video and interviews that I've watched.

Since I left the country and hasn't been back for 20 yrs. My memories of the Philippines Marcos Regime, NPAs, Coup d'etat, blackouts, street demostrations, traffic, hunger, jobless, earthquake, volcano eruption etc. Today's Philippines with high rise buildings and more sky ways. After all these progress a lot of people are leaving for job opportunities from other countries. Just like when I left smoke and mirrors. I hope and pray its not the case.

peso and cents for example you have 100 pesos and 3 cents
Paper money is "piso"... pronouncing it with "i" instead of "e"
Coins are officially termed as centavos (below the value of 1)
But we used the term "sentemo"...like 25 sentemos...or simply just beinte-cinco.
I always used peso for papers, like 20 pesos. And centavos for cents. I only use the term piso for 1 peso.
I live in ilocos, btw.
For english ....twenty pesos ryhmes but for tagalog... limang piso is appropriate...for spanish ... biente pesos is also better.
@@dvdhr1 yup but for ilokano, they rarely say the dalawampong piso or the tagalog. It's more on spanish and english.
I am glad you got the argument behind
We called them centavos an amount less than 1 peso.
