Alexandru Dan Ion I was downloading it on OPERA and it was taking a long time, I then DL on chrome. I was wondering... I am having a very weird thing happen with a stick I purchased 32G. It will copy files, take the space for them, but then when I go to look at the file, its gone! Or, it will copy the file, I see it, it works, and then when I go to look at it again, its gone. It's like it is erasing files as I copy them. It is driving me absolutely insane! I have asked several people and they have no idea. Any thoughts? Thank you... Mark
It's about permissions, a higher authority has placed read/wright permissions on it. Try to format it and reset the permissions, if you have windows 7 right click and run as administrator. Hope this helped, Alex

A Brooklyn Haunting wright click on it and you should see who has access to Read Wright on the usb. Wright click and choose properties. all grups (admin, user,public) should have access (read/wright)

Thank you so much, this was the solution to my Blackberry Bold 9700, this showed the 545 error and couldn´t get to load the operative system and thus get on my cell. Now it got a new operative system but it runs very good, perfectly, thanks again.

Blackberry has taken down most of the download links hence, I suggest you guys to download the Blackberry OS 7 from TORRENT and installing it while the usb is connected with the computer.( It's an .exe file , size 246mb) after installing that you can follow the method in the video. And it works! :D

yes it may take a long time to connect but eventually it'll do it....if not easies is to try a friends computer, or uninstall/install the software again...also after complete uninstall try to use something like CCleaner to clean the computer....hope it helps Alex

Mine says The blackberry desktop software does not have blackberry device software for the device that you have connected to the computer, just after I click next after being detected.

you need to fix the charging port, as it's also a sync port...you'll need to start over again with a good charging/sync port...hope this helps
try to uninstall complettly the Desktop manager, after that run a cleaner like CCleaner-google it ....and then reinstall everything again...in fact your computer makes a look and does not update the things you really need. Hope this helps Alex

dude after the communication port selection i can no longer continue because theres a window that says device application selection. it looks nothing like on you video. there's nothing to select not even language or anything. what should I do next?

Yap been there done that! You did not install the right firmware for your Blackberry Model! Uninstall from your PC and run a cleaner like "CCleaner" and install the right one! If you do not know the model remove the battery of the phone and look for a white sticker ! On that sticker you will see the right model of your Blackberry! Go back to google and get it right this time :) Hope this helped!
My blackberry bold 9900 won't turn on
went to bed last night and put my phone on charge as normal, woke up this morning and it was turned off and will now not turn on. I thought it was the battery but after putting my battery in my friends phone and it working I realized it cannot be the battery...I also tried his fully charged battery in my phone to no avail.

Hey I have a Blackberry 9900. It won't even come on. It keeps rebooting. I got apploader to work but when it get to the second step waiting for device/ recconect to JVM... it starts to reboot again off and on and I keep getting the message that JVM connection failed retry or cancel. What can I do?

Sometimes the device will turn on but will have issues functioning the right way! Always back-up and re-install it only takes about 20 minutes and you have a brand new phone!

Thank you So much, I just reset my Blackberry Bold 9790 from JVM Error 545. For the 9790 Blackberry, User should be download Blackberry OS v7.0.0, Not v7.1 (Which is latest for that).

Use a different computer, I had this in the past, sometimes the computer fails to launch the loader correctly. Check the cables or better change it. DO NOT FORGET TO DELETE "vendor.xml" Hope this helps

hi, im using bold 9900, and ihave a problem with white screen. the bootscreen load about 70% and then the screen will turn white. whenever i open the app loader, it will stuck at connecting to the device (JVM)

Change the USB port "weld a new one - costly" battery problem should solve as well, you have a shorted connector!
Hello I got Blackberry 9780 and it shows error 507, would it repair this error or not.
Where your screen shows "USB PIN: UNKNOWN", mine keeps showing the actual PIN. It doesn't give me a second to click next, it immediately knowns my phone PIN hence it keeps trying to restore that existing corrupt OS. I've tried installing it regardless, but nothing happens.
I've installed and reinstalled the BDM and specific OS for my Torch 9800 over and over again, tried the Command Prompt to run the AppLoader, i've manually run the Loader, and every single time - I get stuck at the Communication Port Selection phase. At one point after uninstalling and reinstalling everything (and wiping out every trace of RIM out of my Common Files or Roaming folder) it showed USB PIN: UNKNOWN and I caught the next button, hopeful, it reinstalled the OS, but another popup appeared asking for my device PIN attempt 1 out of 10. I ignored it until the Application Loader Wizard was done, but after my phone rebooted... I still had my JVM error. I'm quite tech savvy and very patient, but i'm about to lose it.

Please can you help me i have BB 9000 and red blinking light.I connect BB with USB and i hear DING and see in D.M its a connected.I pull out the battery and start LOADER from Program Files. And i see PIN UNKNOWN.And when i do alll that the red light is on few minutes and start blinking.But when i start to get ARM,RED LIGHT turn off,when it fails phone again connect on comp,and start blinking the red light.What is the problem please can you help me? :/ I hope that you understand me :/
