You should try limiting the cpu from hitting 100 percent by changing the power options power plan Max core or something from 100 to 80 or 75 Can help with terrible stutters bcs if the cpu maxing out

I couldn't get it to work with the laptop's own screen so I had to use the external monitor. You may try that to see if it works. Make sure everything is powered on as well.
I try to use the EXP GDC with a DELL-6420 (very similar to the one I see here), and I know the results are very variables, but I get almost the same results from you. I wonder if you manage to enable the laptop monitor ?

So far I haven't been able to get the laptop display to work when using the adapter.
What about Playing pubg on this laptop???
