If you have a bundt pan, place your cob on the hole and slice off the kernels. They will fall right into the pan and won’t skip away. Saw this great hack on Facebook!!
I've never had any kind of succotash, but your recipe got me hyped to make a bash. Just purchased myself a King Kooker, 20 qt Dutch Oven, for doing jambalaya, gumbo and curry. Now I can do succotash too.
Okra, corn, string beans, shrimp, cut sausages are what I use in mine. But I'm going to try it your way this time with some of those couple of other seasonings you use this time. Great video
This is deluxe. I have okra out the ying from my garden in summer and I'm always looking for new ideas. Okra and tomatoes are a classic combo, but your additions took it another step. I'll be making this.....Thanks Bea:)
Oh my goodness, that does look good. Actually, it's like the base I use for vegetable soup. With a nice piece of hot cornbread and a glass of sweet tea, yum! Thanks for sharing.
Hi T,! I love your cooking videos. I'm always inspired to use more seasonings when I watch you cooking. (smile*) I never saw that product "Worcestershire Pepper". I like the way you layer your flavors. Keep up the good work T..... :)
i am growing some okra right now in summer of 2019 hoping i could get to this level past harvest to pan. looks like this method to cook them is best i seen.
arthur herrera how did your okra come out? I love okra. I grew tomatoes, green onions, collard, mustard and turn up greens this year. Also peppers, strawberries, herbs and waiting on my watermelon. Thank you for watching.
I love the succotash that you’re making just want to tell you a hint I saw another coat to cut corn off the cob when you make the first slice of the side of the corn lady that flat side down on the counter and then cut and turn in cut intern try that it might work but I’m trying this succotash it looks delicious
When you added the bay leaves I smiled. I was wondering if you were going to put them on there. I was getting a little sad. lol. I put bay leaves in everything tho.
Easier way to cut corn: turn a small bowl bottom up in the larger bowl. Rest bottom of corn ear on small bowl; cut kernels and hey will fall into larger bowl. No mess. No fuss.
Just a little tip. Next time make sure u cook (roast) the tomato paste in the beginning to get rid of that canned flavor and bring out the flavor. Just adding raw tomato paste in a dish is not a good idea.
Mmmm, mmmm that takes me back to S Carolina, when my great-grandmother cooked from the garden. I'm gonna make this for dinner.
Marina Gilbert I hope it turns out wonderful!!!!
8 years later and still 👀 watching. Great video😍

As street foods

last time ate Okra&Tomatoes ifelt racing.
Geoffrey Mwangi what do you mean feeling racing. Please describe it.
why not grill the corn for a little bit to add more flavor then take the kernels off the cob
Good idea!
No Sis I'm not.
At least this recipe wasn’t so ‘sufferin’ to make
I know, right?
We should have nothing against salt. It brings out the flavour of the food and our bodies NEED salt.
I agree Victor.....it's just that some of our bodies are salt sensitive. Thank you for watching!!!! Did you subscribe :)
@@beafromsandiego thanks for responding. Yes I will. I do like how you cook. I'm from San Diego, living in Georgia now. Keep representing Daygo!!!
You cook amazing. Why don’t you add your recipes on Khal, com. Your recipe will be in the top videos
..
The word seasoning indicates salt
kev tay Seasoning is the process of adding salt, herbs, or spices to food to enhance the flavour.

Are you Jamaican, if you don't mind me asking?
You needed to show the finished dish as well as taste it. I know you are not a pro and you really can't cook but you blew it in the end imo.
Your opnion is valued.....lol! Thanks for watching!
simple food? killing a pig for that bacon and fishing that shrimp for this meal isn't very simple at all......
Cain Plant She didn't kill or fish for anything you idiot.
Thank you!
