you're so fun to watch, full of energie and you look so happy to show us what you know ! :)
That was the most perfect rainbow cake I have ever seen. I also love your genius idea of using the special ruler to make sure you scrape the sides of the cake evenly. I would have never thought of that :)
Wow, just found your channel. Love your teaching style and your cheery personality...I'm off to grab a cup of tea to sit down to a marathon session of your videos. Thank you so much for uploading these, you seem so lovely xx
Tried it, came out fantastic. Your instructions are pretty clear for areas covered, and I hadn't thought to use the tools you had. Beautiful cake, copied it almost perfectly. Had a bit of trouble with the alignment of the hearts, but that was due to impatience. Thank you so much! These little tricks will help with other cakes as well.
Looks beautiful :) rainbows r always fun!
What a fantastic cake!!! Lovely work!
Cake-Diva, it's so amazing! So for such wonderful master-classes!

Hahahahah jk!
This looks amazing! You are so talented at making cakes. I don't think I would of been able to do this.
I remember seeing an umbrella cake in one of your older videos and I'm obsessed with it! It'd be cool to see how you did it:)
The tutorial is on my Facebook page Yasmin Torres

Oh please make another video im in love with your channel i have subscribed x
I'm absolutely itching to have an excuse to make this cake it's so beautiful! I love seeing a really good British UA-camr, I think the videos are great.
What food colour do you use? And you should totally make a video about how you make your cookies, all of mine lose their shape when baked :(
Hi OnlyAnnii
I use colours called Sugarflair. But most pastes (or gels) seem OK. x
Thank you! This is great, just realised that I use way to little butter cream :)
Oh I don't think there is a set formula Miriam Feinberg . You do what you want. I just find it easier to put less on the inside and use the outside to straighten everything up xxx
Hi. I'm just wondering if I need to use anything (water, shortening etc) when sticking the fondant shapes onto the buttercream? Thanks Kellie
+Kellie Biggins Not if the buttercream is fresh Kellie. If it is already crusted then you can always paint the back of the heart with a little water or piping jelly. Or buttercream. Whatever is easier. xx
cn u please suggest wch different flavours can we use for d different layers of rainbow cake?
---->Rosie I love your cake turning table....where can I get one? Thank you (new subbie) :)
Gosh....I think mine just came from a department store. It's nothing madly special. xx
Dosent the cake dry out after it's been in the fridge so many times? Dose it stay moist? Thank u love all ur videos v helpful xx
Quite the opposite luvbaking1. Before the buttercream goes on I use cellophane and once the buttercream is on it is being protected anyway. the fridge keeps it fresher than at room temp. x
Cool. I want to eat it
Love
Rosie!!!!!!
Love it! Wish you'd have shown properly how u get the edges on top so neat
I didn't do anything special on this one Sonia Soniaa because I knew it would have clouds on top. I'll do a ganache video at some point. xxx
Thank you :)
Hi Rosie - doesn't putting fondant hearts onto buttercream make them go soft - or does it not matter? Great video thanks! xx
No. Not really Louise Shekell ...not with my buttercream. xx
maravilhoso
I'm not familiar with cakes at all but I was wondering if you're able to make this type of cake with the 3 milk cakes. I love those cakes because of how moist they are
Moist cakes are much harder to stack YuNGiSLANdPRiNCESs because they are just a more difficult consistency to deal with. I'm afraid you have to use your judgement as to whether the cake will manage to hold it's structure well enough. Use the fridge to help you while you assemble it and that will definitely help. xx
How can i layer the to make the rainbow but i time that it is really nice
That is a good cake
Hi. Just watched your Madeira cake recipe. Great stuff. Can you just tell me what size cake the 4 egg mix would make, roughly. I have a 9 inch & 7 inch rainbow cake to make.
+Andrea Iles Hi there.
It does depend on how deep you want them but I always end up using about an 8 egg mix. The cake you see in the video had roughly a 2 egg mix per layer. xx
+Rosie Cake-Diva. Thank you so much. Great help. Keep up the brilliant work xx
@@RosieCakeDiva1 Thank you for this video ...so if Rainbow cake has 12 eggs in the recipe for the 6 cakes and going by the 8 egg method the flour/sugar and butter should be increased to 750g (plus 250g of flour to be added with eggs)? Thank you.
shelly anthis yes just size everything up. Good luck xx
i actually really like it because im into colinary arts and i found this video and it tought me alot so .... thank you!!
Don't You Mean Mean Culinary Arts .
well u know what i meant Marcqwaja Morrisey
Cute
hermoso arcoiris
rosie tell me how to make those cakes without egg
Does this work with cupcakes?
MAJESTICBUCKATRON Hi there, Cupcakes are just too small for you to layer them and stack them without them drying out. But you can do other effects in a cupcake. Take a look at my Rainbow Spot cupcakes. xx ua-cam.com/video/7em-bBPchIw/v-deo.html
So BEAUTIFUL HUN ♡♥♡♥♡♥♡♥♡♥♡♥
wouldn't putting the cake in the fridge make the fondant sweat when you put it on the cold cake?
No krystal howell, It only takes 10 minutes for the buttercream to set up in the fridge. It really doesn't signify bu the time you decorate it. x
Rosie Cake-Diva Awesome thanks for your help!!

Would you be able to share your butter cream recipe?
It's on my channel Lisa Lankshear Here: Basic Buttercream Recipe xx
มันกินได้ไหมง่ะ
can you tell me the recipe for Fondant
I used ready made Ruhi. Just shop-bought X
"checks that each level is straight" my first thought was how the cake is rainbow.... and not straight..... lmao I think my gayness is showing oops
also "cause they're going to come out"
Beautiful cake!
Not to be rude, and I am definitely not a cake expert, but have you ever thought about putting simple syrup on your cakes before you put another layer on, just to keep them moist?
+Sarah Lavan I do that sometimes Sarah. I think it works really well. xx
Cant click your recipe for the cake.
هلا حلو هاد المشاهدة
How many batches of your buttercream did you use? Rosie Cake-Diva
I usually make a double batch Roya Besheya (500g butter/ 1kg icing sugar) and that was enough. xx
Ok Thank you xx Rosie Cake-Diva
she loves talking about buttercream xD.
No
Faaaaaabulous!!
I have some wonderful LGBT Parties and offer Drag Show's publicly as 501c3 Benefit's, (I arrange and host for my Event business), so this is perfect for various LGBT annual Pride month/shows
Few should make for my friends 'coming out' party.. yet, way too long and pride month also is TOO far away! (sigh)
Think I may I go into that closet, turn that light on and pull my in the closet gay friend(s) OUT sooner...Just so I can make this cake even faster!!! Taaaah Daaah.... You're OUT! Haha...
