I Just follow the instructions of the car book. It is all explain. Easy!

I think it is worth to mention you should disable to High power battery pack before you do anything electronically on this car, it is located behind the driver side rear seat. Just simply pulled out the switch.

@@210SAi I never got a bms code, my car would tell me “turn off to save power” and then would randomly not start
NTB just told me they were gonna charge me 700 for maintenance to do this…I can see how that’s even possible…thanks for this video

Wouldn't you need a memory saver before unhooking the battery to prevent the car from have issues once you replace the new battery?
What if the check engine light came on? And it says please stop safely after turning the car on

What exactly do u connect under the hood when u talk about connecting something there. Do I connect like a battery jumper or a memory saver
every vehicle your suppose to connect a memory saver to save the memory in the computer so the car wont start running funny , also connecting the memory save will alow the windows not to lose memory as well

Question please so those fusion don't have another 1e volt battery on the front and just that one in the trunk ,the one you change plus the big hibrid there also correct? Also that battery you change how do you know you need to replace it

Just now changing my battery in my 2017 Energi which I bought in August 2016. So, over 7 years
What battery did you buy?
You forgot to hook up the vent tube, or didn't show it. Also the other side of my battery had a second vent hole on the front that needed to be plugged. DieHard provides that plug molded into the positive terminal cover.

Why is that first step needed right the front hood negative and positive?
I believe this is needed if you maintain the computer memory

My car died on me incant wven open the trunk at all, them that fat hump thingy in the back is blocking me from finding the pull latch. Mines 2015 ford fusion same color as this one

@@alondramoreno5971 yeah neighbors gave me like this noole meetle stick with a hook at the end so I could resh through the back seat and pull the trunk release
You 4got to put the vent tube back on, that mistake can cause the computer to burn out and the hybrid battery to explode and blow up your car.
I did put the tube back and that tube cannot cause the computer to burn out that is to vent the acid vaper from the battery to the out side it's not to cool anything down
@@DULLAHGOSOHARD nopes, that's what happened to my fusion. It's toast. I know it was because I 4got that vent tube. And thats what the insurance ajuster said too. So ai lost out. Never a ford again. Piece of shits. Ford (found on road dead)
Insurance adjuster are lairs they are not your friend they always want to under pay you and most of the time they dont want to pay anything the vent tube have no cooling function so there is no way it will cause the computer to burn out your car probably had other problem than that vent tube that's why it's always good to have lawyer talk to your insurance so they dont take advantage of you
@@DULLAHGOSOHARD SOB!!!! I had to to pay the car off myself because he said it was my fault that I didnt take to dealer. And now I bought a honda accord. Its too late to do anything about it its been a year already.
Sorry you had to go through that i remember last year when someone ran the light and the insurance didn't want to pay until lawyer get involved
