Wish you would have gone into depth more about actual weight savings from cast vs forged in the same wheel size. To some, spending more on something that’s lighter than stock when adding tires heavier than stock might me beneficial.
Ok thanks I made my mind up I’ll just get a cast wheel 24x14 for my daily driving and latter ill get a forge for my weekend truck I’ll build that slow I feel much better now I feel like I can sleep now lol
ya but what about the different ways of making a forged wheel? And, the blanks can still have faults in them. And, there is forged one, two, three piece?
Shipping times are insane right now, I ordered my lift and wheels and tires on may 19, 2021 and still haven’t received my lift. Not fun having your wheels and tires and not being able to put them on 👍
@@xtripv108 power to you. I would definitely not be waiting something like that out. Did you have to pay the full amount or just the $300 deposit? I would wait for a hold of $300 but not 2500-4500 for wheels and tires.
There's one thing yall should've mentioned, living anywhere that they salt the roads, forged and cast aluminum is definitely a better option than steel wheels. Seems like the rust out within a couple years.
I have a 94 k1500 single cab short bed 4x4. This winter I'm swapping in a 6.0L and a 4l80e trans. Than I'll be ordering a 4 inch lift with some 22x12 and 35' to finish it off.
Nice video. Forged are of course stronger, but has anyone actually broken a rotary cast wheel? I have seen cast wheels break and avoid them for serious off-roading and/or racing.
No point of forged wheels if you're not doin top speeds on a track or unless you jump your trophy truck. Daily drivers deserve nothing but casted wheels.

I agree. Why I came to this video I want to see numbers. Wish wheel companies gave us the weight of their wheels.
@@arm2896 they do literally on their website
Had the same cheap ass wheels on my truck and they've worked perfect for me.
Need to make a floating center cap for arkon wheel 🙏
Cast quality is great, forged is a flex.
Rotary Forged sounds like the way to go....
Look forward to receive the Anthem Off-Road Rogue wheels, will definitely complete my build
Love Custom Offsets 💙

I wonder if I could request a 13” wide forged wheel.. that would be cool. 640 shouldn’t be said here. I like this channel.
Arkon all day🤘
Which gave you the most weight savings?

Yes
I have flow formed fuel rims and I like then very light rim design fuel assault
Awesome
Hi good morning. If someone has 80+rims designs would that person be able to get a job designing rims for the company?
Are VR D04 wheels really forged they only $2040? Not 10k
I thought forging was the pressing of the heated slug. That process was not depicted.
Why is gd not blurred out
Did y’all ever do the $500 giveaway? I think someone forgot lol
