I love the oe alarm. I wanted one of these so bad in college. A buddy got a brand new e46 m3 and I remember not believing it then selling them new a few years later. I owned a dinan e90 330i 6 speed. loved that car

Grew up in the 80's and 90's myself and am just loving this build. When will there be another update on the Yarn building? I'm super jacked for that too!
Man I'm obsessive and often can't help but find things to screw with but this is on a whole other level. One thing I think you definitely need in this car however is the 3 spoke wheel with the blue and white emblem in the center of the airbag...I know it's technically not what came with the car but with the wheel being something you spend so much time interacting with while enjoying the car it's such a high return upgrade.
This build is exactly how I want my 97 LUX Package Boston Green M3 to be. Hopefully throughout the years i can reach this level of OE+. Just purchased the car about 2 months ago and love it. Wish i had the money to get it like this!

Amber is ALWAYS the way to go on 80’s and 90’s cars. Clear looks ok but it definitely adds some rice to the overall look. The only way I go clear, is if I had some clear tails to go with it. I know it’s a little rice, but I remember having a set of clear tails on my 94 Integra. Pls don’t confuse the “altezza” type tails that started coming out around the late 90’s. The clear tails I’m referring to had a frost type look to it. I know some OG heads remember that from the late 90’s.

What's crazy to me is that 90% of people seeing this M3 on the road will completely ignore it. Meanwhile, there is about 10% of us that would cause an accident if we saw this in person. What a build. I love it
Matt just FYI your sway bar is actually set to the Stiffest setting I believe, also if those headlights are glass I would definitely PPF them! My older Infiniti had fog lights and they were glass oddly enough the headlights were plastic!
Not quite true. I have the aFE in my 95 M3, but I don't use the heat shield it comes with, but that's more a product of the heat shield not aligning correctly to the intake tube and not at all related to the Euro headlights, which I do have
@@RichardVerret I tried installing it without the heatshield and it was possible, however it sits close the fan so all the hot heatwash would end up getting sucked in. The heatshield itself mounts fine, its when you place the intake that the cone air filter gets crushed by the back of the headlight. This is for the version 1 of this intake, where there is only a hole for the elbow to go through. The other version that has a U shaped opening can probably work fine as its only about 1inch of distancing that it needs.
My dad *accidentally* bought/won an e36 in Daytona Violet on bring-a-trailer. (Yes, I know this one is techno) Dinan supercharged and track prepped. The auction froze, for the last day or two, and he had thrown out the last bid before the freeze. It was expected to climb another 5-10k at least. Needless to say, the ole thing rips.
Is there a reason you dilute the hyperdressing? I've been using it straight out of the bottle and it does tend to make things look a little "too shiny". Is that the reason for diluting?
Which K&N air filter part number did you end up using? I’ve been using a K&N RX-4140 (4” OD x 3.5” flange ID x 6” length). Fits better than Dinan one but still not perfect… interested to know.
I had the same experience with floor mats for my E36 M3. Somehow the part numbers got messed up with the wrong part. I think Enthusiast Auto Group knows the details of the story.
Picked up a AvusBlau but it’s hard these days to find. A deal but I saw same color for 8.9k Got mine for 9k 95’ 120k no rot not rust. Negative but positive at the price level a respray. To be it’s fine if I get 15k in 5 years. You example is different I assume to be a accident free title and actually free. You’ll fetch more but I don’t know you circle. The E30 M3 doesn’t average six figures yet.
E3 Interiors are the same guys that made the Royalty Exotic Cars Koenisegg $100K custom interior. To me the perfect E36 M3 is the Schnitzer Green version with widebody and Stack instruments.
100k into an e36 m3 is crazy, you pay a lot for the low mileage which is only worthwhile if u going to sell it on. For a keeper car buy a higher mile and do a full restoration, sure it would be cheaper. Lovely colour combo
there's another guy that bought one exactly like this one before he did. I forgot his UA-cam channel but he only paid 4k for it and it's in great condition. This dude is an idiot, I swear. He's ALL about " show & shine". Notice he never mentions about doing anything to the engine itself such as Schick cams etc. And all the "Euro spec M3" upgrades that are available for this car but this dummy doesn't have a clue. Upgrades such as the Euro M3 GT aluminum doors etc. But he only get a hard-on on the subject of polishing, cleaning or whatever his eyes just light up, smh'. He needs to hurry and do the giveaway and get this car to a real knowledgeable e36 person that's really know what their doing.
Awesome build! I have an E36 Coupe but its to expensive too maintenance. All my Door and window rubber seals are ruined and my door panel with airbags are loose.... They are to rare to find them used and to expensive to buy them new.. I am in love with this car but i will be forced to sell it :/ At least i would be able to stare it online :P
Get e46 m3 floor mats. They fit 98%.. they’re longer but fit underneath front of seats and don’t hit seat rail. I’ve been trying to buy E36 M3 floor mats for more than 3 years. Not only is the new stock wrong (it’s for convertible) the quality is terrible. The E46 fit so well I bought 3 sets as they’re hard to find now too and who knows what crap they will start shipping after the current batch runs out.
I replaced the window door trim on my e36 and let’s just say it turned out... awful? How did you manage to get it back in there so perfectly, mine buckled and kinked a million times...
Conforti is a far better solution for this era M cars and you completely wasted the opportunity to put the M50 intake manifold. It is a massive improvement in top end power and sound and is more power than the throttle body and intake. You could be at 300hp with bolt-ons and the manifold.
@@ObsessedGarage Did you? Because I will tell you every time I hear you give the rundown of engine mods and why that you could have skipped the Dinan CAI and throttle body for Conforti's intake and software with the M50 manifold and had real power gains. But cool, you dig the logo. I get it.
@@ObsessedGarage yes, cold air intakes on turbo BMWs are generally dumb, too. save yourself the hassle and leave them intakes stock. Especially on S55s they’re good even for 700+ up. CSL box on S54 is a must though for the sound.
When you’re wealthy and you just want one of the best own E36 on the planet, cost is immaterial dude. Also if he does end up selling cars he’s out of pocket on he just does a giveaway and recoups his costs in other ways. Something tells me this is a keeper though
All pure driving gas cars are going to be worth a good amount when every new car is electric. I see it as a good investment to keep all his current cars with the exemption of the semi douche raptor and model 3.
You must be real delusional to think that intake install was perfect according to your word's, that coupler looks like it is ready to fall off, 100k not seeing it sorry not your best build. Any purist would cry when they open that hood and see how you installed everything like you would in a rust bucket 92 Honda. My friend owned a brand new off the show room floor e36 that all original car is the only way I can see it.

The three spoke, thin rimmed airbag equipped steering wheel, with the red SRS light up logo is the one you want.

Just removed my fuel sticker a couple of weeks ago on a 96 e36. It came off easy and cleaned up left over residue with stones glass cleaner

Your front swaybar is on the stiffer setting not the softer.

Cosmos, Techno, Daytona, Fern, Boston, Avus all look better with Ambers.
Alpine, Helrot, Dakar, Arctic and Titanium look better with OE Clears.

I think you'll have the clear signals on for about 30min then switch back to amber, the rice factor is high on clear signals.

Why not tint before installing new interior pieces?
If he tinted first, he wouldn’t be able to see the interior.
I've been torn on which way to go. I think the chances of scratching the tint will be high when they are doing the interior.
