      How have you connected them up, the 3 fans on the AIO going in to one port on the hub and then the other 3 going into another port on the hub?

    im really curios. So i will buy a o11 vision and i will use it in low mode. So im gonna use it with 8 fans.
    Im gonna buy this aio which comes with 3 fans.
    I will buy a tl lcd reverse blade 3 pack with its own controller. it will go with the aio.
    to the bottom i will buy 3x single reverse blade sl inf fans, and the last 2 exhaust fans are in the aio. so the bottom and exhaust fans are gonna get controlled by the aio inf controller. And the tl lcd fans are gonna get controlled by their own controller also it will be the aios fans. Is this compatiable or do i need extra controllers etc? thx

    • @BrisyTechBytes
      @BrisyTechBytes  4 місяці тому

      I actually think you could probably have got away with using the 1 controller to cover all fans, I'm sure each port on the controller can take 4 fans, in saying that the LCD fans have a higher draw so that number may have come down.
      With what you are getting though everything will be fine, the 2 controllers should show up in LCONNECT 3 and it'll be good having them separate, 1 for case fans and 1 for AIO fans.
      Enjoy the build when you get all your gear together 👍

    why isnt the other cable (sata) connected into the pump? do i dont need it to run the aio?

    • @BrisyTechBytes
      @BrisyTechBytes  4 місяці тому

      No you don't need the second cable as the AIO comes with a hub for controlling the fans, if you didn't have the hub the other connection on the pump could be used for hooking up fans to it and allow you to control them through the L-Connect software.
      Hope that makes sense, I believe in the 240 version of the AIO you don't get the hub

    • @BerndMiez-y4x
      @BerndMiez-y4x 4 місяці тому

      oh ok thank you very much. and how will get the aio power? from the connector itself?

    • @BrisyTechBytes
      @BrisyTechBytes  4 місяці тому

      @user-pt4tm2ol9g so the screen and pump will get power from the usb-c cable that plugs in to the side of it, other end goes to a USB header on your mobo.
      The fans will all get their power from the included hub which has its own sata power connection, the usb cable that plugs in to that hub is purely for the control of the fans speed and RGB through L-Connect 3 software.

    Hey thanks for super informative video man, you answered a lot of my questions. Can I purchase 7 single fans and rig everything through the controller that comes with the Lian Li LCD 360mm? I’m trying to run 10 SL 120 INF fans (including the 3 from 360 AIO) . I don’t need the 3pk for the controller if I’m already getting one with cooler right? Also, my mobo has 4 USB headers so I should be good without the USB splitter?

    • @BrisyTechBytes
      @BrisyTechBytes  3 місяці тому

      Appreciate the feedback.
      Yes you could just buy all single fans, as I did (obviously 3 come with the AIO). For me as I was using reverse blade fans I could only buy those in single packs but also bought a seperate Lian Li fan hub that has the proprietary connections, purely just to keep it a bit easier for cable management, so I swapped out the cable attached to the AIO fans with one of these cables and used them on the other fans....4 fan cables in total, 1 for AIO fans, 1 for Rear Exhaust, 1 for Side intake fans and 1 for bottom intake.
      Sounds like you'll be all good on the USB headers too, only had the 2 on mine so hence the requirement for the hub.
      Happy building bud 👍

      Sweeeeet, it’s my first build so I tried to make it as simple as possible regarding cable management. Both exhaust and intake into one AIO controller was the way to go no doubt. Thank you for the reply!

    Hey man. Was messaging you on another video of yours then came across this, hoping it would fix my issues… unfortunately not… the leds on the pump quickly flash on then stay off, and the lcd screen doesn’t turn on at all during testing… I’m getting so frustrated 😭! Everything is plugged in the same as yours from what I can tell 😭😭

    • @BrisyTechBytes
      @BrisyTechBytes  Місяць тому

      @ReignDGF first things first, is the pump running and the AIO fans spinning regardless of the screen and LED's not coming on?
      Also where are the yab cables from the Pump and the fan controller plugged in to? If they are plugged in to an internal USB hub then make sure that hub is getting power.

    • @ReignDGF
      @ReignDGF Місяць тому

      @@BrisyTechBytesI think there may not be enough power to the mobo… so I’m getting another cpu cord to connect to psu today… cuz right now there’s nothing plugged to atx_12v 8/12pin slot on mobo… but yes the cpu cooler fans are running and lighting up. The pump light flashes on for a milli second and then stays off and lcd screen doesn’t even try

    • @BrisyTechBytes
      @BrisyTechBytes  Місяць тому

      @ReignDGF does the system boot up ok? If so there really shouldn't be any reason that the screen doesn't fire up, where do you have the usb plugged in to from the pump, to the motherboard or did you buy an internal USB hub?

    • @ReignDGF
      @ReignDGF Місяць тому

      @@BrisyTechBytesto the mobo. I tried to start it up but it wouldn’t connect to my monitors… so it was like neither the gpu or monitors hdmi port were working. So I’m thinking again, lack of power to mobo? Like I said I have everything plugged in the same as you! I looked at another video of an Asus z790 installation, and the only thing I saw different was additional power at the top slots to the atx_12v on mobo

    • @BrisyTechBytes
      @BrisyTechBytes  Місяць тому

      @ReignDGF should only ever need that additional power connection to the top of the mobo if you are planning on overclocking.
      Need to solve whatever issue is causing the system to not fire up, would imagine as once as that is solved then the screen will work fine.

    • @BrisyTechBytes

      You'll be fine with what you've ordered, you'll probably find in the triple packs the hub has the Lian Li proprietary connectors so you could use that hub to control all the fans including the ones on the AIO, just swap the cable out on the AIO fans and keeps it all a little cleaner for when you come to do your cable management 👍

    on my aorus x670e master board i only have a cpu opt and a cpu fan and a sys_fan8_pump on the top of my board where should i plug the pump cable greetings friend and what speed of pump and fans did you use and what firmware do you have and how did you update it to make it right.

    • @BrisyTechBytes
      @BrisyTechBytes  5 місяців тому +1

      You can plug the pump in to the CPU OPT header on the motherboard and the cable coming from the controller in to CPU FAN header on your mobo.
      In the L-Connect software I set the pump to the quiet profile and the fans to the standard profile. Also in the software I selected all fans to be controlled by the GPU temps apart from the 3 fans on the AIO which are controlled by the CPU temps, unfortunately didn't cover that in my video but plenty out there that will show you how to do that.
      As for updating the firmware I done that through the L-Connect software itself, if you have any issues doing it that way there is actually a tool you can download to update the firmware, the link for this can also be found on the page where you download the L-Connect software, just a case of selecting what it is you are looking to update, download the zip file and run the firmware update exe from within it and choose the latest firmware that is also included in the zip, if you have the latest version it will inform you.

      @Apathizial yeah there is all sorts of options on how you can have the fans and radiator arranged. In my particular case I actually wanted the AIO mounted on the side and act as the intake, bought reverse blade fans to keep it all nice looking but it turned out that when you place fans at the top of my case (without a radiator) you can't see them so it felt pointless, especially having the infinity mirror fans, so everything was all swapped back again and the AIO top mounted 😬

    I was wondering whats the best way to wire everything. Right now I plan to get the Galahad II LCD, strimmer GPU and motherboard v2 cables, one 3-pack reverse infinity fans, a single reverse infinity fan, and a single infinity fan. My motherboard is the B650-A Asus board. My case is also the Phantek nv5 (needs USB2.0 header and ARGB?). Do you have any suggestions on how to plug the cables into each of them? My concern is how to wire everything including the connectors. Also afraid of number of headers on the motherboard might not be enough for all the USB 2.0 headers and ARGB. Thanks!

    • @BrisyTechBytes
      @BrisyTechBytes  Місяць тому

      @John-ie2fw I was similar in struggling with the lack of USB 2.0 headers in my motherboard so ended up buying tge NZXT internal USB hub which works perfectly.
      I also ended up buying the Lian Li UNI HUB SL INF Connect 3 Controller to replace the one that comes with the AIO, done this for a couple of reason, one is that this Controllers uses the proprietary connecting that combines both the power and and RGB cables you get on the fans at the moment, the hub comes with replacement cables you can just swap those out, keeps the cable management cleaner...also this hub has an additional 2 ARGB connections for things like the strimmer cables and because of this the controller requires 2 sata power connections.
      Just noticed that you said you bought a 3 packs of reverse blade fans, this controller might actually come with those fans, I had to buy my reverse blade fans separately, didn't think you could actually buy these as a 3 pack.
      Should also point out the my case RGB (rbg around the PSU shroud and NV5 Premium kit) I just wired in to the cases built in controller and use the case buttons to set that. All the Lian Li components are controlled with the Lian Li controller.

    • @John-ie2fw
      @John-ie2fw Місяць тому

      @@BrisyTechBytes Thanks for the reply! Ah you are right, I don't think there is a 3-pack for the reverse fans. In that case what would you suggest?
      So the plan is to buy 4 reversed blade infinity fans and 2 regular infinity fans with a total of 6 fans. Would I then use two controllers or a single one? Can all 6 fans fit onto one controller? How would teh AIO connect to these controllers?
      Are you also familiar with the Lian Li Strimer Plus V2 cables as I believe that one also comes with a controller specifically for the cables and wondering how to wire this up. Will I also have enough ARGB for all this plus the one for the NV5?

    • @BrisyTechBytes
      @BrisyTechBytes  Місяць тому

      @John-ie2fw just to check, you said you are getting the Galahad II LCD AIO...is it the 240 or 360 one you are getting? And the 6 fans you are talking about does that include the fans on the AIO?

    • @John-ie2fw
      @John-ie2fw Місяць тому

      @@BrisyTechBytes360 AIO. 6 fans not including the ones on the AIO as you have it in this video. AIO with three fans on top, one in the rear, one reverse fan on the bottom, and three reverse fan that arefront mounted. So sorry it should be 5 not 6.

    • @BrisyTechBytes
      @BrisyTechBytes  Місяць тому

      @John-ie2fw ok got you....so the controller that comes with AIO will be able to control all fans, each port on the controller can handle 4 fans.
      I'm not too familiar with what comes with the strimmer cables but if it does have its own controller then it should just be a case of using that controller for those cables but will probably need it's own USB header and sata power supply.
      Then when you eventually install the Lian Li L-Connect 3 soft those 2 seperate Controllers should appear in the software allowing you to modify everything that's hooked up to them.
      So you'll end up needing 3 USB internal headers, one for the AIO screen itself, 1 for the fan controller that comes with the AIO and one for the hub that comes with the strimmer cables

    What is the second port of the lcd display?

    • @BrisyTechBytes
      @BrisyTechBytes  5 місяців тому

      I believe it's meant to be for powering fans and controlling their RGB straight from the pump through the L-Connect 3 software, but as this is the SL-INF version it's not needed as it comes with a fan control hub.
      Don't think it would ever really get used unless you somehow bought the AIO and wanted to use other fans rather than Lians Li's
