    Your audio typing test makes it sound a bit scratchy, Is it more poppy in person? I realized my keyboard is sounding the same if i listen closer so I'm lubing it and it helps but it's just tedious. Though worth it ahahaha. Getting that keyboard to build as a gift to a friend. @jcsanmateo think the scratching you are hearing is actually my sleeve rubbing off the felt mouse mat I use 😬 noticed it myself after it was uploaded. The keyboard and switch combo is really quite and smooth, just as I was looking for, so far no complaints 👌

      @@BrisyTechBytes thank you so much. I’m a researcher so lots of code and I like gaming. I wanted to be able to game and also create two separate displays on the same monitor where 1 runs VMware Ubuntu and the other runs windows. Effectively I would have 3 displays - 1 laptop screen + 1 left side split and right side split. How could I do this ? Do I install display fusion or is it done on the monitor itself ?

    • @BrisyTechBytes
      @BrisyTechBytes 5 днів тому

      @mostechroom9780 another added benefit of this monitor is having the built in KVM switch would be handy in a spilt screen scenario too if someone perhaps hooked up their desktop and laptop to it for work purposes, really is a decent monitor for it's price.

    Hey. Good review. I have a question: What desk mount are you using for this monitor? And what is the one above the MSI hanging on? I'm asking because I want to do a similar setup at my place. www.youtube.com/@BrisyTechBytes

    • @BrisyTechBytes
      @BrisyTechBytes 7 днів тому

      @BBoyJamalloRock thanks for the feed back 👍 So the monitor stand which is clamped to my desk is the Duronic DM35V2X1 which I got from Amazon, property I have is rented so can't wall mount them so tried a few that kept the monitor as close to the wall as possible and I found this to be the best. The monitor above is the Acer Nitro XF252QX, had this for quite a few years now, only a 25" 1080p 240hz monitor, the Ultrawide is used for most things.

    Well thank you for the video! You did provide basically all the answers in the video and comment section to the questions I already had. However, three new questions popped up : 1. I don't know if you had any experience with Dell's monitors, specifically their monitor stand. I wonder if Dell's monitor stand can be used on this monitor? Personally, I already have Ergotron's LX monitor arm with a high pole which should handle this monitor but over the years I grew tired of it. It's not as practical as it once was, so I am looking for alternatives 2. What is the exact model of the chair you are using? I did try finding it on X Rockergaming website but X Rocker Strike chair doesn't exist nor there are any that look remotely close. Is it that some older model that you are using? 3. What app/widget are you using for your desktop background? That thing is awesome!

    • @BrisyTechBytes
      @BrisyTechBytes 14 днів тому

      @cynicalskeptic thanks for the feedback and I'm more than happy to try and answer those questions for you. 1. The only experience I have with dell monitors are ones I have used in work, in theory you would think other stands from other monitor manufacturers could work as long as it's a 100x100 vesa sized plate and would sit inside the square opening of this monitor. I always intended to have this mounted on a stacked stand and just had to make sure whatever I used could take the weight. My worry with using a different stand from another manufacturer is that there is usually some sort of locating catch/hook, that's probably the thing that would stop you from using a Dell stand if those were different. 2. The chair I had was indeed the X Rocker strike and even though it's a few years old can still be purchased for about £120 from Smyths toy store here in the UK, not sure if thatvis where youvare based? Few months ago I actually changed my chair the the Holludle ergonomic office chair, totally forgot to update my parts list in my video description 😬 3. The softwareci used is Wallpaper Engine that you can purchase on Steam, no doubt you'll have heard that, if you are interested in the name of the actual wallpaper give me a shout and I'll get that for you later

    • @cynicalskeptic
      @cynicalskeptic 8 днів тому

      @@BrisyTechBytes yeah I thought it was Wallpaper engine. I bought it years ago but it had so much manga and anime that no matter what I did I couldn't filter out all of them,so i eventually uninstalled it. @peskingx you can't with these particular fans but there are other options for PWM fans from the same manufacturer. At the time they only did those in a 5 pack and I was needing 6 fans and that was the main reason I went for the non PWM fans. @@BrisyTechBytes So I just got my MX-6 in the mail today. I was getting pretty close to the Thermal Limit of this gpu at 83 degrees in many games if I didn’t do any undervolting through Afterburner. Even then, still hovering in the high 70s, often my gpu temp was higher than my cpu temp. After the repaste and a bit of testing, it looks to be sitting comfy in the low 60s, sometimes spiking to 64 or 65. Huge improvement, if I’m being honest I didn’t think I would get anything close to that, but my paste was pretty sparse when I first removed the cooler.

      @stolustravel3906 as this software is constantly updating I'm not 100% sure what will continue to work after the 30 day trial period, only from memory when my initial trail period ended the GPU temp was showing as "trail" rather than a temp, but I'm sure everything else was showing OK on the sensor panel screen. I just ended coughing up the cash and paid for the license which I do annually, and even then I don't think you need to do it annually unless you want the new features of any updated versions of the software when they come out. You might as well give the trial version a go and wait till the 30 days expire to see what stops working then make a call on it if you want to pay for a license or not...have alson een people mention Rainmeter as an alternative option but I have never looked in to this, have no idea how customisable it is and if there are forums with people sharing their sensor panels to download like you can with Aida 64

    Excellent video, great spot on the cables same one had popped out on me during reassembly. Just a note on your comment at the end: the 2070 super requires 0.5mm, 1mm, 2mm & 2.5mm pads. 0.5mm for vram, 1mm & 2mm for heatsink. The 2.5mm are on the back plate and a bit more of a job to get at, plus my pack didn't have em so I left them be. Very nervous taking it apart but as far as jobs like this go it's extremely straightforward once you get stuck in. Enjoy your 4090!

      @BrisyTechBytes 22 дні тому

      @IconOfSin thank you bud, appreciate the feedback 👍. Yeah I knew of the 2.5mm pads on the back but after disassembling the card and seeing that the thermal pads were still quite sticky and had not dried out I thought I would just leave the back ones, stupidly forgot to mention the back ones in the video thaough so a little annoyed at that. To be honest after seeing the thermal paste on the GPU die I think it was never covered evenly from the start, was quietly confident that just repasting would make a huge difference...and it did 😉

      @IconOfSin 22 дні тому

      @@BrisyTechBytes nah video covers it better than most, iFixit has a decent article but internals don't quite match and literally 0 mention of cables. Gotta say my paste looked just as bad if not worse... but mine was hitting excess of 100° in minutes of running BG3. Seems to be very common issue over time with the 2070 super. All my 10 series cards are still going strong, the 20 was only a few years old. Thanks again brother 🤙🏻

I have a family to look after so think it's natural for anyone to try and get the best deal under the current cost of living issues that we have...and if I was truly tight fisted I wouldn't be coughing up for the top package that each of rhe providers had on offer for me. @user-yf6mo7tf9p how are you controlling the RGB, with the case inbuilt controller or do you have it hooked up to an RGB header on your motherboard?

    • @BrisyTechBytes
      @BrisyTechBytes 24 дні тому

      @user-yf6mo7tf9p just want to check how you are controlling the rgb, are you using the case inbuilt controller or do you have it hooked up to your motherboard to control the rgb? When I initially built mine I was trying to let another RGB controller that I have in my case for the fans also control the case lighting, wanted everything to be controlled under the same software but I ended up with practically the same issue as you so ended up disconnecting the case light from this other controller and hooking it up to the case inbuilt controller and it worked fine, means I control my case lighting through the buttons on top of the case. Can only assume that the other controller could only handle so many LED's per channel and why only part of the 3rd strip was lighting up. In my case I have a sata power cable connected to the inbuilt controller and the hub that came with the premium kit, the rgb light around the PSU shroud is still connected to the case controller, from the case controller there should be a spare 3 pin rgb cable that I attached to the premium kit hub, on the hub I have attached the edge lights, which are daisy chained, to on of the 3 ports and the motherboard edge panel attached to the second port on the hub.

      @@BrisyTechBytes i have mine connected to the hub/signal wire that comes from the case. I also tried connecting both satas 1 to the built in controller in the case and the other to the hub.but it still didn't work i have to disconnect the bottom strip and connect it to the hub directly in order for it to work its an electrical hazard since it has prones coming out of the middle strip. im lost dont know what to do.

    • @BrisyTechBytes
      @BrisyTechBytes 24 дні тому

      @user-yf6mo7tf9p at least we know it's not an issue with the strip then if it works being plugged in directly to the hub. I have saw another user say they didn't use the hub at all, they just plugged the case edge lighting directly into the 3 pin RGB cable that was from the case controller. For me I can't do that as I am also using the motherboard edge panel. Just wondering if you have tried connecting the case edge lighting in to each of the ports on the hub...as in trying them one at a time in case one of the ports is playing up a bit?

    Hi guys, this is a great product and video. I got a question. Can these things also be installed when the rest is already installed, or would that require removing all again (Mainboard, Top AIO, Fans to the right of the Mainboard etc.) to make it fit ? Any info on that would be awesome. ;) Thank you. Cheers

    • @BrisyTechBytes
      @BrisyTechBytes Місяць тому

      @OLDM4N-DE appreciate the feedback 👍 Regarding the installation, I don't see there being any problem in installing this kiy after the rest is installed, it helps being able to remove the side and front glass panel for access. I think you would need to install the side strip first so you can get it in by the fans and then the top and bottom strip and obviously the motherboard edge panel which wouldn't be installed till after the build anyway 👍
