    Awesome. I've moved into our rpod which is much smaller than yours . It will be only 3 days a week but it keeps me close to work and less miles on my car.

      That sounds like a great idea! And smaller means easier to clean and transport ... We hope you love the transition. And thanks for watching :) 👍👍

      Thanks so much Paula! That color change made a HUGE change in the feel of the place. It felt larger and certainly brighter :) Are you remodeling anything of your own?

    I love it! What happened to your "dining room" table?

    • @LivDeeper10x
      @LivDeeper10x  2 роки тому

      We decided to get rid of the table, it was too clunky and hard to store. We bought another table that we could breakdown and store but that one was still a bit too big for our area. We found ourselves sitting outside when the weather was good and using lap desks or tray tables to eat on days when the weather was bad.

      Well we have been away from the Rpod for quite some time, and have been making our way around the world instead:) We are currently in Lisbon, Portugal and will be moving back over to explore Southern Spain for the next month or so. We spent 4 months in the Rpod touring all around the United States, then headed overseas from there. Check out some of our other videos of where we've been. You might find a place you'd like to visit!

    Very nice! How do you keep water from going all over the floor when you shower?

    • @LivDeeper10x
      @LivDeeper10x  2 місяці тому +1

      The shower curtain extends outside the actual shower at the ceiling (with the runner extensions), but the curtain hangs back down into the shower at the floor. So, no leaks!!!

    • @ewinkley
      @ewinkley 2 місяці тому

      @@LivDeeper10x is it the curtain that came with the camper or did you need to order a longer one?

    • @LivDeeper10x
      @LivDeeper10x  2 місяці тому +1

      @ewinkley I can't remember actually, but a standard RPOD curtain should work fine. They come long enough to extend around behind the toilet, so plenty of length for the extended area 👍

    Very nice remodel. Does the sofa make into a bed? Do you like how your bed is? I dislike ours , climbing over hubby to go to the bathroom etc. How long did you end up living in your pod?

    • @LivDeeper10x
      @LivDeeper10x  Рік тому +1

      Hello Lucy! Yes, the sofa is actually a futon, so it folds open to be used as a bed :) You're right about the bed being a pain sometimes, lol! Gina and I have just had to choose who would sleep on the outside based on who needs to get up more ... The person on the outside also tends to be a bit warmer, feeling more of the heat coming out from under the bed. All those little struggles bring us closer as a couple 😁 We lived in it full time for 4 months, then transitioned to a life of overseas travel - and we're still doing it! We hope you check out some of our other videos to see how all of those adventures went. Are you going to be camping a lot this season?

    I had a rpod 179. I did love it. But storage and dark colors always bugged me. You did a fabulous job. I wish we had seen this years ago. I was a travel nurse. The rpod was my home away from home. Great job & enjoy the road☮️✌️

    • @LivDeeper10x
      @LivDeeper10x  3 роки тому

      Thank you Janet. I like you did not like the dark colors. I knew of I was going to live in it full time, it needed to be bright and fresh.

      @@LivDeeper10x No I don’t. I sold it in 2019. I don’t do travel nursing anymore. I do miss it. If I had known then what I know now about renovating it, I would have kept it. I have gotten the itch to travel long term on the road again and am looking for a suitable/affordable rig. A used one would be fun to renovate. I am so jealous of you and your adventures 😌☮️

    what a great mod/change! Very bright and airy looking! one question - No dinette? do you have tv stands or?

    • @LivDeeper10x
      @LivDeeper10x  3 роки тому +1

      Thanks very much! TV stands are a great idea and we thought about that but did not go in that direction. Instead we got a foldable aluminum table that can be used inside or outside. I will try and upload a link to that table. It's great, but a bit too big for the inside. If you could find something similar but a little smaller that would be perfect...

    Hi! so happy to see this, just got an Rpod as well, last Friday and I was frustrated about tryng to remove the valance in the 'living room area.' Thanks to your vids I think I can now take a gander at rmoving them. Also please may I ask what sort of wallpaper did you use for the 'bedroom' area? are they tthe 'peel and stick' or real thin wallpaper'? I heard that the 'peel and stick' doesn't work if the surface texture to to (like the interior of the Rpods), true?
    Thanks in advance.

    • @LivDeeper10x
      @LivDeeper10x  3 роки тому +1

      Hello.. so glad the valence video was helpful. It was quite the task to get them off, but we are much happier without them.
      As for the wallpaper, it has withstood the test of time. Sadly, this type is out of stock, but the peel and stick is the brand I used. Hope that helps and happy trails! We currently are full timing it in our Rpod and so far it's been good. Enjoy!
