In Shadow of the Vulture she isn't a sword and sorcery character. She's a Ukrainian canoneer and swordswoman defending Vienna from the Ottoman Empire and Sulemain the Magnificent. She's not even the main character of the story, but she's the most interesting. The Sword and sorcery character was developed by Marvel Comics. The only reason this is important is Howard loved writing historical fiction as well as fantasy. He should be remembered for it.

It's part of the reason they couldn't use the name Shumagorath in Doctor Strange and the Multiverse Madness. IDW publishes Red Sonya but for some reason Marvel can use her whenever they want. It's so muddled I give them points for remembering the short story at all.

Would love some of these making a Cameo appearance!

There was an original six book series that was the original start of the character. They are going to film a new movie for Red Sonja. Hopefully will be alot better that the Conan reboot. And keeps to the original cannon.
I read a fanfic called "Once Upon Time in Hyboria" in Fanfiction, tells about a gunslinger/bounty hunter called "Tombstone" accidentally travel to the world of Hyboria where he meet Red Sonja and surprisingly beat her in hand-to-hand combat. Together, the gunslinger and She-Devil with a Sword travel to unknown places while Tombstone tried to get back home. I recommend to read that fic and it has some references from Spaghetti western films including Dollars/Man with No Name(Clint Eastwood) Trilogy.
An exceptionally rare book series that needs to be reprinted. If they want to market the upcoming film, they could give those novels the same treatment Saga Press gave to the Elric Saga. In this case three oversized novels that have 2 novels each in them. And of course use those gorgeous Boris Vallejo painting covers.
At the end of the movie Galador never defeated Sonja the sparred for a few seconds stopped then kissed plus if getting the right writers Sonja would be a big hit.

I'm currently reading her crossover with Conan, one of my favourite team dynamics. I really love the concept of female warrior aspect story.
I highly recommend her team up with Spider-Man. That's not even a joke, it actually happened twice.
