And although the batter acts as a protective covering for the meat in this recipe, it turns out to be incredibly delicious. Meat in batter is easy to prepare. This recipe uses simple ingredients that go well together. Have fun cooking!
    Ingredients:
    1400g pork (pork neck)
    500g flour
    2 large pinches of salt
    250 ml of cold water
    1 ½ tbsp sunflower oil
    2 medium onions
    Frying oil
    250 g mushrooms
    2 cloves of garlic
    salt
    ½ teaspoon thyme
    approx. 10 g salt for this piece of meat
    Black pepper
    20-30 g cheese (optional)
    1 egg
    I use siliconized parchment, if necessary grease the baking dish or normal parchment with frying oil
    Preheat the oven to 180 ° C
    Bake in the lower third of the oven, top / bottom heat for 100-110 minutes
    After 30-40 minutes, when the batter is browned, cover with foil
    I baked 1400 g of meat in the batter for 100 minutes to an internal temperature of 80 ° C.
    Remove the foil, brush with egg and bake for another 10 minutes
    Cover the meat with foil and let it rest for 20 minutes
