He was waiting for the guard to turn around, as the guard would have seen him throw the crowbar before getting knocked out, leaving him with an unconscious witness and ruining the Silent Assassin rating. Killing him would have also ruined SA.

You know you don't have to speedrun the level right? I mean just play it normally with all the opportunities at first and then figure out what play style suits you.
AJ Nguyen Gaming how do i get better man am I just stupid? I have a hard time figuring things out and i always get caught or seen. Are you supposed to die over and over or os that just me? I LOVE how it feels and looks i wanna git gud but idk how
Follow the opportunities, they are there to guide new players. Also use instinct to detect enforcer (NPC with white dot above their head). Some level may seems to be overwhelm at first but after a few runs you should know basic layout of it and the patrol route of the guards, remember to use the right disguise at the right place (bartender can't carry weapons around in the open for example).

A easy peasy way for starters in professional difficulty.
Start at the underground lab as a scientist. Killed the lady by shooting a stalagmite, killed Caruso by the antique cannon. No civilian death, and 5 stars.
I always play with the music off because I found it so distracting but now I have to play with it on because I just realised how awesome it can be!
I wish this had commentary on how and why you did everything. Would of been so much better but still amazing.

This is cool, I employ a different method, kill all the protection, then the targets have nowhere to go, but that's mostly because I want them to notice me. I did that in the Freedom Fighters mission, killed the guards at the front gate, then had all the bad guys bearing down on me, it is exhilarating
