I just came from LPL's channel. At his request and logic, I would like to extend my thanks to you and your wife for caring for those children. That's a huge undertaking and is incredibly commendable. I'll put your channel on autoplay for the rest of the day in hopes that UA-cam offers some small financial compensation.

I can from there as well. I hoped I would be the only one to comment on this video, but I can see you beat me to it. That really pissed me off, but it’s ok it’s for a good cause. So instead I decided to give the video a like.

Ditto. I'm sorry BB has decided to hang up the picks but totally appreciate the story and reasons behind it. I too wish BosnianBill a happy retirement as he looks after those children. I wish you all the best. Take care out there.

I got a 350 years ago. I found that using a Dremel tool to soften some of the sharp edges helps out a lot if you are inclined to rest your hands on the top parts of the vise a lot.

Thanks to you, Bill, I've gotten in to the hobby of locks and have come to appreciate the quality and durability of a Pelican hard case on your recommendation. I remember seeing your video on traveling with secure luggage and how easy zippers are to bypass. Subscribed back then and continue to watch your videos and learn from you. Good luck and enjoy your retirement.

I like the idea talking a bit about vises. It is important to have a proper equipment and your hand gets tired pretty fast, especially at beginning lockpicking, when constantly holding the lock and holding it against the pressure of the tensioning.
Quite expensive panavise in Germany. Found the 350 on Amazon, they want more than 200€ for it. Panavise in the US sells it for 99USD...well with shipping and tax and all the stuff...
Not sure if this doesn't discourage new pickers to tell them beside your need for a 50 to 100$ pick kit you need another 50 to 100$ for a proper vise ;).
Bill, didn't you have also something like a Proxxon FMS 75 years ago? This is about 30€ on Amazon and should do the trick for beginners as well.
My vise is even cheaper ^^. Paid 10€ for it on a low-budget store and got it for about 10 years now. It is a bit worn out since I started lockpicking but it is still good to go. the only disadvantage is that it is table-mounted. Thought about cutting the holding mechanism of and just screw on a heavy plate with some foam rubber beneath.

FYI The Panavise 350 that is referenced in this vid is $99 US from the Panavise website. On ebay however , I found it for $89 US and is available with free shipping. Which is not the case if you buy direct from Panavise. So you end up saving about $20+. I AM NOT affiliated with the ebay auction in any way whatsoever. In fact there are currently multiple sellers on ebay selling these for the same price so take your pick.

    I need your help.
A long time ago you recommended a leaflet (or something) written by someone else, that teaches lock picking. You said it was great because it gave so much information in one little leaflet. I found it and read it at the time, then saved it on my phone. However, that phone is long gone and I forgot to transfer the leaflet information. Please see if you remember this leaflet and how to reach it.
....the guy who wrote the leaflet kept putting people in detention for asking stupid questions.

@@William_Borgeson I had one. The issue I ran into is the suction worked the first few times and then stopped holding. Now I use it for a lightweight chip holder for soldering. It's a bit wobbly too and the armature tightener doesn't secure as well either.
