I am amazed! You guys are 9.23 times the man I every was! That weather! Snow here means you look out your window and shiver and throw another log on the fireplace and thank God you are in a warm house! I have serious respect for you both. Great Video! Thank you for posting!
@@W6RIPRadioAdventures I hope you're going to do more?? Been hoping for a while that someone would start a channel that merged these things. Its something that I do often and have for years.....but, I don't have the energy for the channel project, even tho I have considered it.....73 N8BEG
I worked NL7V on 20m while I was activating earlier in the week and I had a similar thought - I grabbed my phone and got him on video saying his call and "73 from Alaska " too! Great video.
@@W6RIPRadioAdventures awesome man. Figured you didn’t know. I saw the stream of yellow dots and was like “whoa!” Lol. Hope all is well. Always look forward to your videos and just thought the other night I hadn’t seen one in a while. This one was especially awesome
@@JimmyShot Thank you for that!. Its been awhile. I spent some time on this one with all the footage from a whole week. Glad to hear you really liked it! It was a special one.
Thanks Matt!. Yes. Pretty much NVIS being that low but sloped up to 15-20ft. It worked pretty well. Shows just getting a wire in the air will suffice. Lol 😆🤣
@@W6RIPRadioAdventures thanks for the information. I still have a lot to learn. But I’m kinda a fan of the NVIS ANTENNA. Unfortunately my 891 probably won’t be in for month or more. And it’s killing me lol. Have everything but the Hf radio.
@@W6RIPRadioAdventures unfortunately went from mid March to end of April. Was hoping to have radio for vaca. Guess I’m stuck to watching videos lol. I think I’ve watched them all lol
Coolest video for ham radio!! Great shots!!!
Thank you Sir! It was a fun week!

You think stuffing that browning in your big Agnes bivy over your Cot might have been more comfortable when the stove goes out?
Maybe. It would have helped the condensation from wetting the bag. I used a wool blanket up around the neck and shoulders to trap in the heat.
Dude!!!
You guys are effing nuts, lol.
That was a pretty cool adventure.. nicely done. Matt’s off road recovery I am familiar with. They have a pretty cool channel too. KJ7BPN
