I also enjoyed watching you brew your Mexican inspired tea, and making your dinner sure gave me an appetite it seems that ham radio also inspires our cooking skills. Thank you for sharing!
Carl, I really like your new tent and that really nice stove that you have, looks very nice to keep warm and play radio also your location is very nice also, a lot of very nice scenery! Enjoy!
Hi Carl, nice video mate, reminds me of my weekends camping in the lakes when I lived over there. We did 4 years in a small campervan over here in zl, we loved it. Keep the videos coming and keep enjoying the outdoors. Brian zl3xdj
Fantastic video - I found myself really drawn-in into this one and paid real attention to it. I learn so much from your execellent videos that give me ideas/insperation for my own portable / mobile work. I love that tent, have a bit of tent envy going on there ! You looked very comfortable this time out and the 705 was doing an excellent job - I think I have a drive on plate here at home, but ironicaly until seeing your video had forgot about it ! One to remember for the future. Thanks again and 73, 2E0FWE.

Nice to see you have changed the scope of the channel Carl, hope this goes well with you and further content!
A lot less discombobulatory Lurk in the Teepee. When does running beer the squaw turn up kemosabe 😂🍻🍻👍

I’d like to see how it holds up in rain and wind. I seem to remember it raining occasionally when we lived on the Keele campus.
That’s where I work, my office is in the new innovation hub at Keele
@@M0SZT yes, I remember seeing a video showing you in your office. Nice campus. We all spent a term there.
-28C here in Ontario, Canada today. Winter camping is a bit different here.
Yes we live in a wet and very mild winter country compared to Canada, we don't get opportunity to train and learn how to camp down to those temps.
@@M0SZT Yes indeed. We have a much different climate in the winter but we have very nice summers here in the Great Lakes basin.
Carl do you have trouble with condensation inside the tent over night.
Do you have to wrap a towel around radio ?
This tent is well ventilated but I did pop the radio in the case
What antenna are you using?
Sotabeams dipole 40/20m
More Organised there Carl..looks A bit Tardisy ..looks bigger Inside
