This is perhaps the best meditation advice I have ever heard. I’ve been to many med retreats etc and there is always this agenda of a quiet mind. But this is brilliant. The pressure is off not to not think. I can now think, just be aware of what I am thinking. I love it!
On my way to be diagnosed with POTS and thankful to have managed one of your yoga trainings today after one month in bed and in total panic and anxiety! Bless you for your work I am so happy to see your face ❤ greetings from Sweden
I remember a great teacher saying, when we are quieting our minds, worshipping God, or reading, we are going to have other thoughts, just don't let those thoughts stay there. I can write them down if it's something I need to do, if it's a negative thought- i turn it over to God and then continue meditating on the right things.
I've been deep a couple times in my experiences with meditation I got into the point where I had no thoughts and my body was just mechanically on its own it was quite nice I called the oceanic state
I'm autistic and have a monkey mind so I have to go wherever it jumps to. I've never been able to "meditate" but am great at sitting and ruminating instead. I have uncovered a lot of answers to problems and riddles while doing this.

Don’t shut it up, just don’t get attached to the train of thoughts. Let them pass and be in the moment of breath. Good luck!
Exactly! Well said ❤️
ADHD here, I do not try to silenc myself while meditating, just letting my thoughts flow, becoming witnes of my internal chaos 😂❤
😂😂 perfect

That's typical. You have to mediate for decades to get there usually. Even the famous Buddhist Pema Chodrun said that she's bad at meditation.
I meditate on the Good Lord 😊

True
This bus why I do guided meditations. Or, I meditate for 1 to 3 minutes.
