Nice list. Another good one is Boston Round glass bottles. When my bottles are under 1/3 full I decant them into 8 ounce bottles. This way I don’t have to worry about oxidation from an almost empty bottle. I also use 2 ounce bottles for samples and to save for my whisky library.

I have a big box of those but it's for sending samples which I didn't think was a thing for most others

What a clever show. Thanks! It wouldn’t occur to me to research items like this. I will definitely pick up a few of the items you featured.

10:05 Careful brother. It is against FAA regulations to consume your own alcohol on a plane and has led to some hefty five figure fines. Now granted, in most cases it'll likely just be a "sir you can't do that" kind of thing with it being confiscated if you're caught, but just saying - consume according to your personal risk tolerance.

I remember your video about the Aged and Ore decanter. I thought it was a cool product but didn't know how I could use it. I also like me a Manhattan. I hadn't thought about mixing up a bunch and using the bottle to store it. That's a brilliant idea!

A fun one is the spirit diffuser by Venturi. They don’t make it anymore but similar to a wine one. It does change the nose and palate for some whiskeys and in general is fun to try.

As for hip flasks I can recommend the Dalvey brand, excellent quality and their round shape makes them comfortable to carry

@@TheWhiskeyDictionary I am new to the game but I know him and my uncles get together all the time to enjoy their drinks.
From what I can remember I know the brands Lagavullin and Glenlivet but not sure about the years. They typically are not splurging big time on the booze but I want to get something special for my dad and them to share, still learning at the moment, appreciate your response :)

mostly they drink it neat, on rocks or with some soda water but not much else in terms of mixes or cocktails

Those unfortunately are vastly different... so let's go with something fun that should be a good combo between the two.
I would suggest checking out Oban 14

I don’t like that even the big cubes dilute too much. This will sound funny but I use the ice cube to quickly chill the whiskey, then take it out and use the stone to keep it chilled. So while it doesn’t lower the temp it will maintain it. 😆😆

The bottle of JW red behind your right elbow is hilariously awful. Also, how is that almost empty bottle of Larceny not calling to you and saying “just kill me, already?”
