Running a string down the side, making sure it has same distance from tire to string on the rear tire an then adjusting the front to make it even as well.
Again another great quick video. super handy and easy to follow. next time I am in the middel of nowhere I will be ready for the adjustment if it comes up. only if you had a video of how to change a CVT belt in the middle of the sand dunes with nothing but a pocket knife and duct tape... :)
Iocaine powder. lol. The eyeball setting eclipsing the rear tire works IF the rear tires are the same space apart as the front tires. There are some UTV/ATVs that the rear drive wheels are further apart than the front or vice versa. So, looking overhead the four wheels form a trapezoid instead of a square or rectangle.
4X4 off road vehicles ATV UTV etc. as well as snowmobiles TOE OUT only. Otherwise they handle as twitchy as a cocaine addict. Textron used to own Polaris at one time.
Hey Brian, is that your Side by side? I see it's running Elka shocks, i'm actually one of the engineers there and it's cool to see one of my favorite youtubers running our products!
Great info. 👍 What about the rear? I'm scrubbing tires. I've run a set of Kanati Mongrels for roughly 1800 miles mostly on pavement on my John Deere Gator rsx860. In the last 200 miles I went from 60% tread to balls bald, mostly on one long ride. I just put $300 of new tires on the rear and don't want to repeat that issue. It appears to be out at the bottom and in at the top wearing the inside of the center row of tread to zero in the passenger side and 10% on the driver side. Any suggestions are GREATLY appreciated.
Great video. Do you still fly PPG? Would love to see more. What is your opinion on PPG? Have you lost interest? I'm thinking of getting into it. Thanks
Always enjoy your videos Brian, thanks. Does the plastic bag on baby powder trick work for cars and trucks? You didn't measure anything, do you judge your alignment by road feel rather than say setting toe out by 1/4 of an inch? Thanks again, Bob.
Just got my 2015 RZR XP 1000 outta the shop to get a rear wheel bearing changed. No that wheel is way outta line and idk why. All stock no adjustment on radius rods 🤷🏻♂️
Pro tip: at the very least take a straight edge and tie wire it vertically to the tire through a wheel spoke (on both sides)… then measure between them on the front and back of each tire… the front should be towed in by no more then a 1/4” in on a 30” tire, on a smaller tire no more than a 1/8”… - I use a metal stud from Home Depot, cut in half with two holes drilled in it… very efficient & effective method.
First it was my old Subarus. Now it's my UTV.
This guy is awesome!
Simple and straightforward. Nice.

Best video bro. Mechanic wanted 400 to do an alignment. Thanks a lot man.

Jeff Woolums lol you just explained it. With a pocket knife and duct tape. That's how real men do it lol
I know right!?
Incredibly helpful video! I also have a wildcat X that i have to do this on. Only wish you also showed how to adjust camber as well. Thank you

I just bought 2018 Polaris ranger mid size noticed after riding one wheel is towed out straighten it up other towed out witch one do you adjust
why is it bad if it’s “too” straight and what does that mean?
Does the same work for a Yamaha 250 Atv?
Great video
