Looks like an extended version of the Badlands landscaping. Look forward to seeing the finished display.

@@willamettevalleyAFtrains Thank you. I’m hoping to do a little Christmas village themed layout that looks like my town. And believe it or not my little town looks like the badlands layout! I’ll have a Christmas tree on the far side of this board.

Loco needs to be on a radius 4 or 5. '4th radius: 572 mm, 5th radius: 638 mm' It will look a lot more natural and will not truncate the way it is now. I can see coaches derailing on those tight curves on you. Personal experience: This was the same mistake I made when I built my first layout being that you build to the scale of the rolling stock you will run on it or all will start to look out of scale.

@@BigRed-dr6we This is my first time running new Lionel made American Flyer Berkshire locomotive and haven’t run the newer passenger cars yet with their Lionel hi-rail trucks. I’ve heard they can have issues negotiating old American Flyer track 20” radius, but so far so good. I build old style toy train displays like the factory did for department stores so I’m not worried too much about being out of scale. This layout will actually be a Christmas Village that looks similar to my home town. There will be a Christmas tree on one side of it so scale won’t matter too much. I’m happy if it will stay on the track, lol!
