I'm so glad the Owner have her some well deserved affection. She was a little anxious about Coco being so close to her baby and she could probably smell "Coco"when she reflects and wants to smell "Kiki and Mimi together" .
The love she shows for Kiki is incredible, all consuming and very humbling. I did not know Mother Cats loved thei babies to this extent.

Watching this video has me worried. The mother obviously is unexperienced. And tense... The kitten should nurse 24/7!! When it is not sleeping. It should get much more warmth from its mother!! Must have!! NOT lay on its own far away from the mother!! For the mother to keep on producing milk, the kitten has to nurse, to suckle a lot!!
The fact that it is a single kitten makes it all more complicated!!
The mother needs extra quality "food and drink"!! What has she been given during and after the delivery??
REMOVE the male from there!! He should NOT be there!! ONLY the mother and the kitten!!
It will take a lot to keep the mother calm and relaxed, and to have the baby kitten survive to a healthy individual!!

@@cady4917 I'm gave him the information, cause he might not has the knowledge about it. Cat can produce kittens every 6 months, each liter usually will have 5 kittens. It's all the human dad's decision.

Es ist gut, dass du einen Veterinär hinzugezogen hast. Für uns am Bildschirm sieht es im entferntesten nicht einfach Klasse aus, obwohl sich das Baby behaupten mag. Mimi sollte weiterhin enorm viel Liebe und Schutz spüren. Bitte immer wieder die Zitzerl freilegen, dass das Kleine saugen kann und warm halten und Coco trösten, dass die Nr. 1 sein Baby ist und Mimi Ruhe und Schlaf braucht. Es ist immer wieder ein Wunder Nachwuchs zu bekommen, es geht aber mit Stress einher, zumal ein großes Einfühlungsvermögen nötig ist, ich hoffe und denke aber der 🐱Papa hat es und liebt seine Kätzchen sehr. Weiterhin alles Gute und Liebe für Groß und Klein 💞🍀💕🙋♀️

I hope Mico will be a healthy kitten and for Mimi and Coco really the best parents.
It is not just being "dark and calm" but a place where Mama Coco can feel secure. If she can't be seen in there, and feels she has hidden her baby away for security, that will make her calm and happy. It needs to have a small entrance she can easily get in, but tucked away where no-one can see it, or see in. Mama cats hide their babies from the world to keep them safe, they dont like to feel exposed.
Exactly this. When my cat gave birth she did it in my clothes cupboard - it was soft, dark and warm with a door that she knew how to open and close herself.
We didn't realise she was pregnant so that was a nice surprise - 4 newborn kittens amongst my tshirts lol.
She might move the kitten. It's odd that she had only one.

@@isabellajones8535 oh no ... 😢 Thanks for letting me know. Maybe there was a good reason. When I was very young our cat had kittens and one of them was sick and the mama cat ate the baby. When my mom told me that, I couldn't believe it and then I thought nature has a way of taking care.
