Ian is one of Korda's true rising stars. He's rapidly building an enviable list of big fish, caught from some tricky waters in the south of England. Like all quality anglers, watercraft is one of Ian's biggest strengths. Getting on fish regularly has been key to his results. However, once he's found them, he has the tactical knowledge to exploit his opportunities.
Ian has become something of an expert at fishing the chod rig and often uses it 'naked' on fluorocarbon line. He's one of the youngest members of the British Carp Study Group and fishes for carp that have a certain history and prestige. Rather than fishing for bites, Ian prefers to target bigger specimens, a pursuit that's seen him bank mirrors and commons to over 40lb. It wouldn't be a surprise to see Ian cradling more than a few big 'uns over the next few years, we certainly hope so.
