This is my favorite Tame Impala song since I've listened it for the first time. It feels like I'm floating within blissful pacific waves of the best things that exist in me and the universe, with my soul involved and my being sheltered in the purest serenity, like a dream that becomes real when my eyes are closed to just focus on listening.
I'm so grateful that I could hear it live at Lollapalooza Brazil 2023. I wasn't expecting that song on the setlist. When Kevin said that they would do a song that hasn't been played for a while and that some people might be happy to hear it, I started to get hyped and repeating to me and my friends "Is it Alter Ego????!!!!".
When the synth and guitar started... It's is hard to find words to describe... I, definitely, was one of those who got happy for hearing it. I felt that embrace in an unique way. It was the purest emotion, one of the best moments in my life.
