Welcome back everyone! I hope you’re all having a great day. Todays video was a fun one making one of the new coins from the Royal mint featuring King Charles III. I thought I’d model it and make it extra large so that’s what I did. I hope you all enjoy and I’ll see you all soon for the next one. 👍🏻
My landlady Has some sight issues, and I wish they made coins that big. She was a big fan of the queen. Wish they had that size for her. Keep up the good work
When the coin came out of the mold with the black soil behind the letters it actually looked cool. I was half expecting you to paint the outer 2cm or so black to provide contrast to the letters.
Great job. t looks kind of dull, but how about spraying gloss Black over each face of the coin and then use steel wool to highlight the raised portions?

You should make this coin in nordic gold.

As cool as it is, you should have well made it out of nordic gold
Are the sprue and riser 3d printed. If so can I get the stl for them? Really like how you did it.
Yes they are. You can get them from my friend Perry’s site at plmfoundries.com

Hi I'm a new subscriber just wondering what metal is used in this beautiful peice?
Aluminum 👍🏻
Looks good, although Charles is not the handsomest fellow
🤣 this is true
Why the wooden flask rather than your new steel one?
Edit, also 71 degrees. I'm sitting at 46. And raining cats and dogs...
It uses less sand and for a piece this thin I didn’t need a big feeder so I just used the wood one.
