    Ma'am your videos are always been helpful in my journey of studying English.In one of your video you preferred a grammar book by Raymond Murphy.Now it would be a great pleasure if you suggest/recommend a self study book as great as you which will help with Transformation of sentences (Simple~Compound~Complex), Narration (Direct~Indirect), Degrees (comparative, Affirmative to Negative superlative,and the one I forgot), Right form of verbs,Tag Questions, Connectors.

    Emma, correct me if I am wrong. Should I link the vowels using the sounds /w/, /j/, and /r/ in the following sentences?
    [1] Two and Two is four. { /w/ and /w/
    (2) Here is your umbrella. {/r/ and /r/}
    (3) The American restaurant is at the end of the street. {/j/ and /j/}

    Exellent explanations and examples. I often hear British people say phrases like "I saw (r) it" or "betweem China (r) and India." As an English learner, I am really curious about the 'r' there.

    Thank you for such a useful educational video!! I have one question. When you link 'to' with vowel sounds, would you always put 'W' between them?? If so, does it mean that 'to' shouldn't be pronounced with the schwa sound? It'd be very helpful if you could give me an answer.

      To is pronounced with a schwa when you usually vowel a consonant sound after it. But this isn't a strict rule for some speakers. :)
