Understanding Atmospheric Rivers
Вставка
- Опубліковано 23 чер 2024
- Over the last two winter seasons atmospheric rivers have impacted California and the west with extreme precipitation and the cascading consequences of these events. The meteorology that causes atmospheric rivers is complex, but scientists at the Center for Western Weather and Water Extremes (CW3E) are working to help better predict them and understand what they mean for rainfall and snowfall across the state. Join CW3E Deputy Director Julie Kalansky to learn how scientists are researching the causes and consequences of these rivers in the sky, and are working to understand the impact of climate change on the frequency and intensity of these amazing weather phenomena. Science and technology continue to change our lives. University of California scientists are tackling the important questions like climate change, evolution, oceanography, neuroscience and the potential of stem cells.
UCTV is the broadcast and online media platform of the University of California, featuring programming from its ten campuses, three national labs and affiliated research institutions. UCTV explores a broad spectrum of subjects for a general audience, including science, health and medicine, public affairs, humanities, arts and music, business, education, and agriculture. Launched in January 2000, UCTV embraces the core missions of the University of California -- teaching, research, and public service - by providing quality, in-depth television far beyond the campus borders to inquisitive viewers around the world.

So the earths rotation does not influence climate?
It shouldn't affect climate "change". Earth's rotation does not change. Altering the chemistry of the atmosphere does affect climate "change".
i would love to ask . We are having Planes coating our Skies with Chemicals ! What are the Chemicals for ?
It's the infamous trigger chem. Even though you are seeing byproducts (dihydrogen-oxide) of combustion of hydrocarbon fuels, you and others are going to believe you are seeing nefarious mind control aphrodisiacal particles injected into the upper troposphere. That's exactlly what we want you to believe.
those are contrails. the 'chemicals' are mainly H2O, byproduct of H*C* fuel burning.
Why? 😢
@@judyrice7484 Why? It's what they do. It's why they fly. 🙄
When AI gets ahold of ALL this information...
They just use recicled terms and pretend to call already known phenomena in fancy ways...pure bullshit
