My favourite crop to farm are melons. They look cool, have an rng aspect to them, and are farmed with the coolest looking tool from vanilla Minecraft. *pumpkins do not look nice to me, idk why, but they look unappealing
Height change didnt affect me at all. Teleport pad horizontal farms are more efficient anyways, (although you have to change the pads based on the crop you farm, but thats no different than building each farm once to farm anyways so it doesnt matter)
You can build horizontal farms with one layer underground so you can have three layers of carrot potat and wheat to make inf btw favorite crop carrot, potat, cane, or melon

Best crop wheat, spent almost 200m on a maxed t3 hoe and I'm going for top 100 in wheat collection. I got the farm that u only need to hold 3 buttons (I use only mouse) and I can just watch Netflix or do school work while I farm

I don't know we why you needed this two sugarcane farms with default plot layout is near infinite. You should only really need three at most.
Because you only get 28 teleport pads, so you only use about a quarter of the plot, which means you need 4-5 plots long to make up for that space

Don’t use dae axe over fungi cutter. The fungi cutter is the only one to have multiplicative +30% so it’s actually like way more
Its additive, its actually just 30 farming fortune on mushrooms despite what the ability reads.
