A true test would be to fly it away from you until it truly loses the controller signal, then turn off your controller as it returns. That is the ultimate test! Just manually flipping it to auto-return is not a true test.
Sure thing, I will record a video for that. But I do remember, I tested it in my old videos and its the same old unit i am still use. all the New units with new GPS that i have in stock, I am gonna pick one and install it in my new secret big expensive FPV plane I am building and show you all you requested :)

I've been using a Bigaole BGL-6G in my RC FPV 6 meter Glider for many years and it's the best simplest RTH systems I've ever used. I wouldn't fly any of my sailplanes without one.

I would normally expect at least a few people to be around enjoying the sun and scenery. Oh well, better for you not to have anyone getting in the way!

:D Well its a good plane but I did realize that if you don't pay attention to some build parts, you are gonna suffer later. Like, now i can't get the wings off :) hahahah The nuts are slipped in the wood and its permanent now. But it flies like its on rails. Rock solid

You should do the level calibration with a paperback under the plane's nose. The wings won't lift at zero angle of attack, that's why you get the slight dive in stabilized mode. I aim for 5 to 10 degrees, that cures the problem and makes the Bigaole even sweeter. 250 page novel under nose, both switches back, long press button until you get a solid LED. That's all it takes.
Thanks for the advise mate. will do that next time. I used to just lift the plane from tail a little when doing calibration. with this Skyhunter problem is after you mount the wings, you can't access the button LOL :D so I had to rely on trims. Gonna retire the plane cuz I got new FinWing Sabre
I'm disappointed you didn't show what happens when you don't take manual control as it approaches. What will it do if you just let it fly on its own until its battery starts to fade?
it will start circling above your head. I will do another video about it to show what happens if you turn the radio off and do not take control when it returns.

i have home made plane and that is 3 channels its mean ailerons elevator and throttle.i don't use rudder in this model.
my qus is are the bigaole rth mode work fine without rudder?
it does, actually even with a rudder plane, BGL never uses Rudder during RTH :)

Hi Ali, trust you're well. I have 2 of these AutoPilots for my FPV Planes. On one of them the GPS receiver has stopped working. Do you know where I could buy a new one? or do you know of a compatible unit. I tried to use a Beitian BN-220 GPS but although this fired up and got a GPS fix it was not compatible with the BGL-6G-AP. The red light just stayed on all the time... Regards, Pete

@@alishanmao thanks for the response, I should've been more clear. I'm mainly concerned with the failsafe feature on the spektrum tx/rx. You can only do it to where it returns to the switch/gimbal position you placed when you binded the rx. Will the autopilot still be able to control the servos even though the rx tells them to go to a specific position?

this would be good if it was only $40. you can get way more out of a Inav setup for $50. but if you want something for $80+ get a arkbird v2 lite for $110
Arkbird Lite, has many issues. people are crashing planes. Its called Dive of Death :D waste 110$ on that thing and then crash your plane too.

iv looked for quite awhile for any dives of death with the arkbird lite non! to be found, I understand you back the item because you get something for it. but don't just make up stuff to sell your items.
In our coming next videos you will see Dive of Death. I do not make stuff up. we are having serious issues with Arkbird lately and we are ditching them now because we are tired of all the OSD glitches, planes twitching in the air out of no where, crashes that destroy our planes, Gear and Plans, and no support at all from Arkbird for it.
kindly do not assume things that you can't find and blame us for dirty tricks. I have always shown issues about products very honestly for past 12 years in my videos and I will continue to do so.
I wish you had a camera on the plane so we could see FPV because I cannot see the plane in your video when it is far away. Another idea is to get one of those camera that auto-tracks it's subject, one that can zoom in close. Having 3 camera views would make your videos more interesting.

So, this is how to balance the propellers....there's always something to learn.
does the work most of the times LOL. but in theory its not right. because imbalance prop is not due to one blade is long and one short. If thats the case, this method solves the issue quick. if not, then you gotta use a proper balancer
I want to see you add a GPS to your plane so you can find it. Have a friend fly and land your plane somewhere in the dessert, then your challenge is to find it. I lost many drones and planes when they flew away. I want to be able to find them next time.
