Used to watch the "Classic 39" in NYC, bought the DVD collection, watched them hundreds of times, know every line by heart and this still cracks me up! Just finished watching this and had to dry my eyes from the laughter. Thank you, Jackie and the whole cast. Your gift of laughter is both priceless and timeless.
This compilation is priceless. Especially at the end, where he points to the door without saying anything. Honeymooners fan since the early 70's. They just never get old. Thanks for the upload.
ALRIGHT GET OUT!!!! I laughed so hard when he told the fat old lady in the polka dot suit “And you at your age ought to be ashamed of yourself!!” Jackie Gleason could thunder Get Out like no one else in television.
There were not too many things that made me laugh as a kid. This was ahead of the pack and still is. Now, almost 50 years later, it's the best medicine.
The comedic TIMING of the whole cast is just phenomenal. Jackie and his co stars did not rehearse ever, they were just playing off of each other. And they did the whole show in front of a televised live audience, before they began taping it in the studio. You could get tickets to the Jackie Gleason Show in New York City back in the day.....
Love this collection ..he was so explosive...truely amazing comedian well before his time!! No actor could ever TOP Ralph Kramden...He eeally was The Great One .
I liked when the mother in law said "alright I HAVE to go anyway" and Ralph says "You have to be going anyway, whether you have to go anyway or any other way, I'm throwing you out anyway, get ouuuut" 👉👉👉
@@bartonpercival3216 lololol! she was the perfect foil for Ralph! The Jackie Gleason Show on Saturday Night was my absolute hands down favorite from the time we got our first Television Set about 1950. Reggie VanGleason was the best! To some this could probably get annoying... But after watching the classic 39 over a dozen times you can appreciate each of these evictions... Obviously, my favorites are with Norton... He always had a certain way of leaving or saying something on his way out. My two favorites are. "I take back my offer to over a job in the sewer. Besides you wouldn't even fit through the manhole" "I'm not a scared of you. If you could count they wouldn't be investigating your taxes" ( 0:49 & 3:42 ) Gleason may have been a genius, had a lot of great ideas, and had a lot of humor and you certainly can't take anything away from him. But you cannot sell those 3 supporting stars short either - especially Carney and Meadows. Their acting and line delivery was spot on. This was such a great show and like many others from this time period, it never gets old or looses it's flavor.
This is how I feel when I come home from working 12hrs and my wife has her nosey ass friends sitting in my living room or in my mancave area!!! GET OUT!!!! The the fuck out!!! Lol
Now,when they were playing Gin and Norton won the double or nothing hand, and Ralph eventually said"OUT!!,in my opinion, that's a classic example of a sore loser. Now,the pool episode with Harvey,it was not Ralph's place to have Norton leave the pool hall because he doesn't own it.I would've loved it if just once,Norton would have Fatso leave his apartment.
The mother in law: "alright I have to be going ANYWAY" RALPH: "You have to be going anyway, whether you have to be going anyway or any other way I'm throwing you out anyway. Get out, OOOUUUT" 👉
Greatest show of all time .
He would have made a GREAT Umpire!!! "YOU'RE OUT"!!!
he would also eject players and coaches with his tone to lmao.
Ralphs 'you're out' to fred flintstone his 'hold it '

What we just saw were two legends at their best
@@ajdavide2910 That pair was one of a kind. And the writing was genius. Love that show.
Absolutely great and so funny nothing like it since. Jackie Gleason and Art Carney terrific !!!!!
@Bruno56 Most people thought the show was really good .
@Bruno56 You have no sense of humor. Jackie Gleason was one of the greatest entertainers of all time!!!!!
I love at 4:01 when Ralph is soooo pissed off he tries to be overly calm and just point at the door.🤣
Funniest thing ever!!🤣
We’ve been there at least once in our lives right?
Hands down the best one.
My favorite one you know what this mean
4:01-4:15 lmao
You know what this means Norton, you know what this means, oh yea...Never gets old!
Jackie silently pointing at the door as he looks at Art and says “Norton, you know what this means don’t you Norton.”!!!

The funniest part of these is the way Norton (Art Carney) ducks, slides, and covers his head as he's being chased out
The way Audrey Meadows stands there and watches is almost as funny as Gleason.

One of the most intelligent gifted actors...every this was one off my favorite of all time WAY AHEAD OFF HIS TIME AND CAN NEVER BE DEPULACATED...
The King of Queens was a close second. Although I loved that show... nothing can touch the Mooners.
Alice's mom is hilarious!!
I had a mother in law (may she rest in peace) who was exactly like Alice's mom.

If these were never seen episodes and they put them on at 10pm on fridays, it would be the number one show on TV.
This is the best everytime i see this i laugh harder and harder jackie was and will always be the great one!!!
The best tv show that had only one season
"I'm not afraid of you, if you could count they wouldn't be investigating your taxes" 😂
