  • I do what my doctor tells me to do. It's not that bad, you aren't starving but yeah...after 5 days, I wanted a spicy Chic-fil-A biscuit and a Coke. Not a bad thing to do for yourself in January to clean the slate.

    Soups looked absolutely terrible. :P but glad you pulled through and hope it gets after the results you're hoping for.

    I dont think this is a good/healthy way of doing fasting. I am doing IF for almost 2 years. There’s a lot to discuss on the subject. What i would say: this (what you are testing) is not sustainable. You need quality food, not those … :)) . Restrincting calories is not the way, you do this extreme and your body will put back and more pretty soon. Health bebefit - all food and quality, 1-2 times / day, long term. Good luck!

      Of course it's not sustainable...when did I say it was or intended to be? Doc said it was a kick off for some diet changes. IF is very good for you and I do that several days a week...per my doc...

      It has been extensively and scientifically studied. Random example: “Fasting-mimicking diet and markers/risk factors for aging, diabetes, cancer, and cardiovascular disease”
