Apparently even though there was seemingly a clear crossover in WD1 to AC4, the developers came out and claimed it was "only an easter egg", and stated that the games are not canon in each other's universes. However now that they're literally adding in an Assassin into Legion, I think it's safe to say they've finally conceded that point, and we can consider the Olivier Garneau incident completely canon now (there's apparently an AC: Valhalla easter egg in the modern day that further solidifies and canonizes that Olivier Garneau met Aiden Pierce, or so I've heard). Of course, it's always been canon in my mind. Just thought it was interesting that the interaction you mentioned was originally considered non-canon.
Queenie Vic's statue could be another nod to Doctor Who, with the Weeping Angels. Also it was a missed opportunity for Queen Victoria to be holding an Apple Of Eden instead of the Sovereign's Orb. Could've given credence to her moving ability.
Y'know, the one in hand there doesn't look exactly like an apple of eden, but that paired with a golden staff could be a reference to queen victoria having held both an apple and the staff of eden at some point? The pieces of eden are often portrayed in different ways in art, not always perfectly resembling their original image, as most who have seen them but not wielded them don't really get to have a good look. So this statue instead having her hold the Sovereign's Orb could just be a misunderstanding by the artist of just what she held. I agree tho, woulda been dope to have a piece of eden or two hidden under futuristic London Tower!
