I would be curious to see your thoughts on brand differences overall between Lancome and Lisa Eldridge. I think it’s a really specific case study of big industry makeup vs artist curated, niche makeup, if you will. The formula differences, different approach to colors…. So much to unpack there
Inb4 we have another Melt Glazed Skin Sheer Powder debacle: the Rare Beauty powder is listed as a luminous finishing powder and not a setting powder. I'm sure it can still set make up, but it sounds more like one of those powders that is meant to go on as a last step to alter the finish of the face.

I'm interested in the Patrick Ta highlighters bc I see the value in having a powder and cream option depending on the step you want to apply it in or what other products you're wearing that day.
I also like the idea that it doesn't have much of a background color because I'm so fair a lot of highlights add depth along with their shine.

This video came out right before a release I think you will want to get, Victoria Beckham has a brow gel. I can't wait to see your review of it!!!! Also your fjords blush collab was perfect for me. I would love to see a whole collection of muted shades, can you make muted shades for deep skin? Mutedness is just more blue in your skintone right? Also would like to know if the blush adjusters will ever be available again, the purple one makes so many shades that are normally unusable for my olive skin work perfectly but Im running low 😭😭😭

I’d be interested if the rhode blushes set down then maybe id purchase because i def like freckle and the 2 darker shades. Everyone has been commenting about the size comparing to milk but the rhode pkg looks like it would be better to interact with 🤷🏻♀️. I

Kackie, if you still have it, and you still haven’t been able to open that Givenchy powder, try taking the sticker off the bottom and access from there. Unfortunately the shades will get mixed up, but usable.

I just back into MAC. Their shimmer eyeshadows are super long lasting and high preforming. They survive my 12 hour days in the heat.
They are NOT trendy. They are reliable without being boring. I love MAC.

So I'm Gen X and (tepid take coming) I'm still reeling from the shade the mils and Z's are throwing at MAC and have been for years. I try and use everything and every price point, ultra luxe to drugstore/corporate to indie/deep and wide, and I can tell you from experience, hard decades of it, that MAC is underrated and has been since the rise of internet makeup. I think they're a little like Glossier (now that Glossier has course-corrected) in that they understand their customer and don't chase after every single trend that flits by. I can't really do their base products anymore (that flat MAC finish is harsh on 50+ skin) but I'll stand by their color cosmetics anyday, especially for the price. (I also love Makeup Forever, tho I'm bitter about them changing the mascara formula 20ish years ago lol)
the pressed givenchy powder (regular) is available in italy already
And Sweden.. pretty sure they’ve been around almost as long as the loose powder. And some of the lip shades are in the permanent line. Probably just the packaging that’s new in this release 😬

Oh! I did the math - the Gisou lip oil is half the price per oz of most of my favorite lip products. I have a question - as far as the texture, is it a substantial lip oil or is it super thin. Does it sink in and disappear quickly?
Honestly it's halfway between a gloss and an oil. It really looks like a gloss but it's half as viscous.

The YSL candy glaze is super pigmented. The two lipstick formulas from glossier are also pretty highly pigmented and great formulas!
