- This video features how to build the main components of a medieval castle. The cool thing about this is you can incorporate other modular structures such as castle walls, battlements, and other components associated with a castle. This modular structure would be a great fit for Dungeons and Dragons or any tabletop game.

Thanks, yeah I've basically abandoned the tin foil technique in place of this method, it does create a more realistic texture for sure

nice castle build, although I thought you're gonna make the castle gate to lift at some point. some gate houses used to have a hole in the middle to poor boiling oil on any unfortunate soul that could bust open the gate door
Hi, yeah I wanted to use that 3D printed drawbrige that I painted up which did actually work to lift the bridge up and down. I just didn't have enough time to make the moat. Thanks for the comment👍
Looks really good! Foil technique, single bricks and paint/wash really sells the look. I'm sure you will get plenty of use out of it. Very practical pieces to have.
