I thought it was a bit unnecessary to set up this channel at first, but now I think it’s actually a good way to have a quick review of your old content :)
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! 😊 I totally understand how it might have seemed unnecessary at first, but I’m glad you’ve come around to it. It’s a nice way to revisit old favorites and give them a fresh spotlight.
Smart of you - check out the past presentations. I stumbled on this channel about a year ago. It is so amazingly addictive. Slo-mo is a favorite and before/after. Enjoy!😂
That’s amazing to hear! 😊 It’s so cool that this video was your introduction-it’s always special to know which one got someone hooked. Thank you for sticking around and for all your support! Here’s to more satisfying cleans ahead! 🙌✨🧼
Same with me and it's one of my favourites. I've watched it many times. The new techniques James uses now are cool though and I miss them on this one but there's just something about the black that I love
I would have loved to see the weight of the rug before and then after cleaning and drying, just to know how much "dirt" was removed from the fibers of some of the rugs that are cleaned.
It would be really interesting to measure the weight difference and see just how much dirt and grime gets pulled out during the cleaning process. I’ll definitely keep that in mind for future projects
Thank you! 😮💨 The multiple water dumps are so satisfying, aren’t they? It’s like the ultimate finale to a deep clean! I’m so glad you enjoyed it-your support means a lot! 🙌✨
I used to love the two bucket dumps! I loved seeing the difference between the first bucket pour and the second. It was very satisfying to see how truly clean the rug was. This is still one of my favorite videos even if it is an older one!
Brilliant as always... you know, I wonder what goes through your mind after you do an extraction and realize the rug is still really dirty? Holding on to all that soil.
I subbed, since I am subbed to your main channel... Dunno if I like the 2x speed, but this is the first one I ever watched. In the future can you put links to the original 1x speed video... sometimes the slower version is better for relaxation. Good Luck with new channel.
That rug might have been in a coal store, but I don't think anyone walked on it. A few minutes of spray wouldn't release ground-in coal dust and reveal colours that ridiculously vibrant!
Some people still heat their houses w/ coal, & other businesses & such might use it. It's not a store as in a *business*, it's coal *storage*. Our neighbors had a coal room in the basement of their house. Older houses do sometimes. Deal with it..
Sir, I was wondering; if you rotate the orientation of the rug 90 degrees, wouldn't that create a shorter distance for the dirty water to travel? In the current position, the dirt and dirty water must travel the length of the rug, rather than the width. My mind is thinking that rotating the rug 90 degrees would save on your water bill and your time. TIA 😎👍🏼
I totally get where you’re coming from-re-uploads can feel a bit repetitive. Sometimes they’re a way to reach a new audience, but I always aim to keep things fresh and engaging.
That was superb. I always liked that one 💖💖 and I totally love the double extractor and dump. It's a great tool to use to help remove dirt there at the end🤍🤍🤍💖💖💖✨✨✨
Thank you so much! 💖💖 I’m thrilled you enjoyed it-this one is definitely a classic! The double extractor and dump really are game-changers for that final dirt removal-it’s always so satisfying to see the results. 🤍✨

This was the first rug cleaning video I ever watched when you did it on the main channel and it got me hooked

There’s a lot of copycats out there, but his is the best!

Same here. I was amazed out how white he was able to get it.
Same here.

Those multiple water dumps are THE BEST 😮💨 love it

WOW! From black to beautiful. An amazing clean, James.🥰❤
It's hard to believe that a rug that dirty could be brought back to life. Such a cute rug. Good Job.
This rug gave up most of the coal after one rinse. Nowhere near the dirtiest rug on this channel.
This is one of my favorite ones to watch I literally watched this one many times
It is remarkable how much dirt and dust can be held in the fibers of a carpet.
one of the best ones....loved this rug in the main channel. still good at 2x
Yeah, I recall this rug. It was a great transformation.
This is such a good clean. Still ranks in my top 10!! 😊
Yay! Thank you!
It's fun when you stick the hose under the rug and all the soil comes seeping out.
Brilliant as always... you know, I wonder what goes through your mind after you do an extraction and realize the rug is still really dirty? Holding on to all that soil.
I cant quite believe my eyes ! haha
@MountainRugCleaning2xSpeed I could imagine 🤣
I'm sure there's an owl-lover out there who would just go nuts over a rug like that. I hope it found a better home. 😎👍
Love the Timelapse. Red and looks like ornaments or balloons. ❤

Thanks for the sub!
Holy crap I have this rug! My mum got it for me like 20 odd years ago. Mine's in slightly better shape though haha
Hi, do you know where the rug came from? I’d love to get one ❤
@@LilyChase-u8d I think it was from Ikea. But it was a long time ago so I don't know if they'd have them anymore. I hope you can find one! :)

Very good job
Floating the rug gives those of us trying to guess the rugs desig😂n some clues even if the rug is still too dirty to see all the design.
Well if it actually was at that store for any time really it would’ve never come that clean that quick.
May it came from a coal store that wasn't in business for very long?
A coal store? Was it right next to the sword smith and the armory?
Some people still heat their houses w/ coal, & other businesses & such might use it. It's not a store as in a *business*, it's coal *storage*. Our neighbors had a coal room in the basement of their house. Older houses do sometimes. Deal with it..
@ yikes! Laugh a little it may help
I want to operate the machinery and clean a rug one day.
Float the rug!
How on earth did you get that black out of the rug. I have a palette stove and washed the window with a wash rag and I can not get the black sootnout
😮 amazing job 💯
I like that the slo-mo here is regular speed. 😂

Yes you are potentially right. I may set up to clean that way in the next place
This is an old clean xx
It sure is! 😊 It’s always fun to revisit these older cleans and see how far we’ve come.
@MountainRugCleaning2xSpeed As Midlander I am proud to be a follower mate, congratulations on making it this far. Keep striving mate xx
Please name one of your tools Dusty Hoffman 😂
What ? You don't know the bin? Dustbin Hoffman 😂
Back with Dirt Reynolds. Must be an old video
Dirt Reynolds should get a girlfriend she would be be the queen of carpet cleaning 😊
A coal…. store?
You can burn the rug clean
Owls and Figs? I don't get the theme of the rug but nice transformation nonetheless
👌🏻
Think about this for a second. Considering the rug's color, what are the lungs of the people who worked there like? Can anyone say black lung disease?
What’s up with the pattern? Anyone know anything about it?
Following, I love this rug
Dirt Reynolds lol
would buying a new not have been cheaper?
Possibly, but you can't always replace the pattern or the sentimentality.
This rug gave up most of its soilage with next to no effort, so why not save it from the dump?
It’s also worse for the planet to just buy a new one.
Hm. I guess it was just prepared with some sort of coloring so it could make a good video.
Re-upload are lame.
