Ava Gardner, one of the most beautiful actresses during the early era of hollywood the good old time movies I wish they still make movies like this from the golden era thanks for uploading this movie thanks ❤❤❤

I couldn’t imagine any of the characters in this film raising their voices in any way, as the tensions and dramas were much too subtle and deeply felt for such childishness as that.
I'm halfway thru this stupid movie which makes no sense.Who in the hell is Fran and why is she in the hospital? And why do Kenny and Mary live in the same house? And who is Josie? But,on the plus side,at the 100 minute mark, there was a 1940 Ford Standard coupe!!And,it's being chased by a 1936 Ford police car.Well,i suffered thru this whole movie-i give it a D-if it weren't for those two cars,i'd give it an F-.
Ava Gardner was probably the most beautiful actress on the planet...STUNNING
Veronica Lake
Ava Gardner and Veronica Lake were drop-dead gorgeous but my vote goes to Linda Darnell.
Indubidubly 🙂
She truly was. She’s too beautiful to be real.
She's in my top 3 with Grace Kelly and Rita Hayworth

Another good Filme-Noir movie. Ava Gardner was beautiful.
Original score and musical direction by Dimitri Tiomkin❣Always adds so much mood and mystery and beauty to any movie❣Glorious❣❣❣
George Raft was fantastic, one the best actor of all time!
Ava, the most beautiful Hollywood actress!💃
Ava was exceptionally beautiful and also exceptionally talented, a rare combination.
Ava is a beautiful actress undoubtedly.
Victor ,Ava, George and the rest of the staff made this a great movie 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿. Enjoyed it from beginning to end.
George recommended Ava for this film in her first starring role. He certainly had an eye for talent.
Talent? 😁
@@stutzbearcat5624 So Ava Gardner had no talent? FYI she was nominated for the Academy Award for best actress in 1953.

@@stutzbearcat5624 Ha, ha. During filming they went dancing but nothing more. Not that he didn't try according to Ava in her autobiography.

Thanks for another noir with a good cast, including Victor McLaughlan of “The Informer”.

I love this movie!
North Carolina state flower...Ava Gardner
Excellent movie with horrible YT captions- I reported them, so maybe they will fix it so hearing impaired people can enjoy a good movie, too. TY.
Great script.

Fun movie. I hadn't seen it before. A strange role for Mr. Raft.
George Raft, never old never young. An immortal perhaps?

Interesting how the subtitles don’t match the spoken word. Any reason for that?
It's hard to accept that Ava Gardner came from a hardscrabble hicksville background: her features were too perfect for that sort of gene-pool.
Classist perspectives such as this mystify me.
Snob
Good flick.
Why are the subtitles so challenging for you?
Because they suck!!!
La plus belle femme du monde !

When men were masculine. 🤔
Masculinity wasn’t typical in this film, and was intentionally more subtle, and that was the beauty of these characters I sensed.
@@barbarapoulden9235 Well said- the manly presence, unspoken; just there.
Difficult to be more beautiful than EVA GARDNER!!!
Ava!
❤BELLISSIMO FILM NON POSSO GUARDARLO NON ITALIANO. OGGI 8. 8. 2024. ❤
Sound quality is so bad, I can't understand the dialog.
any time I see George Raft I want to take a shower

Super intensa
That was OK.
Except that I hate people without a work ethic.
HUBBA HUBBA !!!! 😊
Wonderbug, Wonderbug, Wonderbug, Wonderbug. Faster than fast, smarter than smart, Wonderbug!😊
George Raft pretty much playing himself. No doubt every penny he was paid for the movie was lost gambling in Reno.
Even though I understand the main characters' frustration, I wish they could constantly scream at each other......
I couldn’t imagine any of the characters in this film raising their voices in any way, as the tensions and dramas were much too subtle and deeply felt for such childishness as that.
Ava was so fine.
pretty dames
Very meaningless depressing movie!! They wasted Eva Gardner's superb acting!!
