@@terpynews5458 what do you mean by does it need to be off? When your driving and have the tazer in your obd port, when you come to a full stop you can long hold the tc button and it will fully disable tc esp and abs so you can slide sideways with out power loss.
My 2017 R/T just came yesterday, and while I was waiting the Tazer was in my first batch of mods. The car doesn't have a factory rear camera, so I ordered one from salvage with the same body colour bezel, a mirror showed some scuffing on the site so I ordered some black covers, then the Tazer, LED headlight bulbs and side markers. I installed the tazer today (got the double bypass too as I'd like to free up my obd2 port) and the 2nd thing I did was try line lock. WOW. I was grinning ear to ear. I'm in Queens so hopefully if any meets happen, I'd love to come by.
I got the Tazer and YES it is well worth it and is a must have to show your progress for all the mods and to see the gains as far as 0-60, hp, and tq gains.
One of the most awesome advances in the performance industry in a long time, and have a burnbox for my Challenger SRT8 as well. Love it because the days of holding the brakes and burning them are over, as well as the need to tap into the hydraulic system and really is a game changer. I finally figured out how to do the light show after owning it for 2 1/2 years LOL, but really don't care about it and got it for the cool down & linelock features
My Daytona came with all of those timers except for track mode and the cool down feature because I had the 5.7 but other then that I had all of those. Loved it.

I bought the tazer for my 2017 challenger rt. Mine was the most freaking basic RT, bought the hellcat spoiler with the camera and the tazer, and now I have pretty much everything.
I just got my Tazer and my R/T Life t-shirt in the same day. Now waiting on my Pedal Commander to arrive. I love how I have Sport Mode on my 2014 and the Light Show found out how have live show in motion

Still going to pick one up for all the other features especially the no drop drl with the turn. I agree it looks super silly when it does that! I don't have any of the timers right now but can get those without the Tazer using a cheaper method. I'll have to make a video of that soon.
@@RTLife I've gotten the performance pages on the dash and the uconnect but took them off because I was going to take the car in for the recall for cruise control. Its supposed to be warmer Tuesday so I'll get the video recorded then.

Great review on that product. You saved me money. My 17 Daytona has the dash gauges, performance pages, memory easy in and out...ect. No track mode, but I am Modded and Custom tuned. Actually I roll with 3 Tunes on the fly. Again always a good video. thanks.
Yup i got a 2017 daytona also the only thing missing is the srt pages and track mode i dont think its worth 300$ tbh, as of now i have the oem cold air intake and modified exhaust i think im only gonna get a tune and a peddle commander and thats it

@@RTLife also a couple things. The cooldown mode will pull the battery down really fast. I have almost killed the battery twice. ( just fyi ) Also the timers are in the UConnect screen if you havent seen them,
I asked z automotive if this was true and they said that launch control will not be added..... can you verify that on base RT you will get a functional launch control??? That would be awesome if that is actually the case
Very Cool of you to go hangout and I'm glad a couple people showed up. Like you, I already had perf pages from the factory, and I still think the tazer is worth every penny! Have you tried it in the Jeep yet? You can probably turn some things on that aren't enabled by default.
@@RTLife you could temporarily unmarry it just to see what options are available on the jeep. Or, leave it married to the RT, but then downgrade the firmware to 2.3.2 on your computer, which eliminates the marrying requirement. You can then enable features on the jeep, remove the Tazer, and upgrade it back to 2.4 and it will still be married to the RT with all the settings in tact.
the fan on the radiator is used to cool the coolant faster - leaving it running when the engine is switched off does almost nothing, except that the coolant in the radiator is cooled.
I just got my taser, and I was messing with it I noticed if you put the transmission feature into track mode or sport mode and then try to take off a puts the car into limp mode on the Chrysler 300 so after you put the mold you want with the transmission you have to turn the car off and then turn it back on or else it feels like it’s stuck in fifth gear Also, when you change the transmission from auto to sports or track, it doesn’t shift gears for you. When you’re in the manual mode you will have to shift the gears yourself. So the best settings I feel like for the Chrysler 300 is to leave the transmission into auto

I'm still digging the wrap you did to your car. Just in my opinion, it needs a continuous wrap to the trunk, the scatpack spoiler, and the scatpack hood
I believe that it's worth it in 2015+ Chargers. I have a 2014 and there isn't as much. I know about line lock and all that, but for me the best feature is the ability to use GPS search while driving.
People who have the super track pak option already have that feature .. My car already has most of those features (rt plus super track pack) But I am super pumped with with the added srt features .. to me worth the 300 buck though I wish the price tag was around 150
You will like the cool down feature when you hit up the strip. My fat ass love the easy in/out so much. But you're right, the STP trim has a lot of these goodies. I love the SRT pages though, they look sexy!
I got one during a sale, $250, still worth the extra $50. Even just to save time on startup putting everything how I want it only takes 6 seconds after startup. I gotta turn off TC, well mostly.
I've had a Tazer from ZAutomotive for a while now. The business is actually right next to where I work. The only feature I use is E-Z out though. Most of the other features prevent my remote start from working on my RT+.
I love the Tazer. I got it for two main reasons 1: enable paddles since I didn’t have them and I bought hellcat ones and needed it to turn them on. 2: backup camera. Though I still haven’t gotten it. But also I love the extra timers and also extra info like air intake temp and more. I think you only get track mode if you have the Plus or higher package. Since mines not a RT plus track mode and launch control does not work. But I do get the performance pages and can do the full disable all nanny / traction control. Ooo also like the enable fogs with high beams.
Def has so many benefits. You might be right though about the track mode. Either way I think this is a solid investment because no matter the trim other then hellcat it really unlocks so many cool features.
R/T DRE yea I tried SRT pages and then I only had normal mode. My sport button stopped working. I’m betting my car will not be like any other since when I asked FCA for my production numbers. Mike is only 1 of 9 built like mine in 2017. Very rare.
Hey fellas quick question...I just installed srt paddle shifters on my base model 2015 5.7L challenger and paddles won't work. Is there a way to enable that setting without spending $250+ on tazer just so that I can enable that. I have no need for the other features the tazer comes with tbh.
If You have a 2011 and up with the 8.4" Uconnect, I say it's worth it 💁🏾♂️ purks outweigh the cons so why not.? No, it doesn't add power, but it does add features. Tazer, and Pedal Commander are two must have practicality adders
I just recently got 2019 rt Daytona. And I love it. Currently it does have performance pages, that track my hp, tq, fuel, timers etc... but it does not have track mode or cooldown. And it looks different. I dont think i really need the tazer for track mode, the only benefit it will provide for me is keeping the valves open on my active exhaust. Which is good but not $300 good. I might save my money for mid muffler delete and tune down the line.
Can you help me, for some reason after manually turning on the cool down feature my car doesn't turn on or of the fan and it starts to slowly overheating, I have to manually turn on the fan in order no to overheat, can you or someone help me
2018 R/T with Tazer set to enable SRT pages trips an ABS light for some reason??? But track mode works with ABS light on. Also have the bypass and steering wheel buttons from same company.
As I was talking with @jetlifeual about how to enable the paddle shifter I guess u need a road and track to add that feature I have a 17 5.7 charger and can't seem to find it or activate it through my taser in 2.4.3 version
Do you have factory GPS? The Tazer allows you to let your passenger input an address while the car is in motion, which is nice. I get that it's a safety feature to prohibit the DRIVER, but sometimes I like to allow my PASSENGER to work the GPS while I drive. Just taking a page from the aviation world of crew resource management (CRM).
You should return it then. That's not cool. I think with these new tazers it has lost that uconnect feature. It works on some, doesn't on others. Very inconsistent

I like the tazer. The airbag light bothers me. Also when I’m in track mode, mds still kicks in. Not sure if I can get rid of it other than getting a tune.
Love your RT. Thinking of getting one for my RT, does adding the timers and performance pages cause your check engine light or airbag lights to turn on ? Seen it happen to a couple of people.

I got the tazer for my 2021 charger rt daytona and i installed it and did the full reboot unplugged and plug back in the fuse and everything and when j turn my car on my uconnect screen is blue now and i lost the performance pages that came with my car and i can't access srt drive modes :( i feel like i ruined my car i turned on srt everything with the tazer and still nothing tbh i regret installing it
@@RTLife yes it would. Especially if U had R/T scat pack. A suggestion 4 a video how to drive an R/T scat pack in winter conditions; best tires to use so U can handle Ice n Snow driving safely. So U don't wreck your car. Since most of the dodge Challengers, Chargers video s on UA-cam don't cover these issues
I was told that if you used the free trial of the Uconnect access (or payed), the SRT pages would not show up on the touch screen. But you would still have access to the SRT pages in the dash. I don't know the validity of the rumor, but that's the only reason why I've been afraid to buy the taser (because I used the free trials).
I’ve just got my 2013 R/T 5.7 L Rwd . I love it but only mode I have is sport mode . Only mods I have is a oil catch can and the dodge steering wheel cover lol don’t joke on me I’m a R/T brother - I’ve beat crust stangs lol on i40 all of the time I hate em but I want more horses lead me the right way how can I get more power
it really bothers me that police agency doesn't get the track pack on some 14teens unless you get a full pack in a v6 max. would be very nice cuz my steering feels like a truck in wide turns...
Hi, have you tried appcar diagfca solution? I was able to turn on Performance Pages on my 2016 Dodge Charger R/T, modify lamps behavior. I do not know if it is exactly the same, but maybe it is some cheaper solution to get at least some key feature (like easy out/easy in)

Just traded my 18 durango rt for a 21' durango rt tow n go..it has track mode!!! But with the extra tow power, adaptive suspension, srt muffler n brembos...they they didn't increase the HP!!! Which sux! Trying to.find some plug n play mods or maybe even a tune but having trouble finding on YT. Any suggestions?!
I'd like to use it to turn off the traction control, how does it work for that, also would the pedal Commander essentially do the same thing, thoughts on using both? My car is 2014.
The tazer makes it so you can press your tc button and hold it in for like 7 seconds then all TC and esp shut off so you can do donuts, burnouts, and slide around corners and such...just have to make sure you dont turn your car off with all those disabled or your battery might run down. (Found out the hard way lol) doesn't hurt anything just jumped the car and battery was fine.) Just a fyi you just need to re enable the tc and esp with another long hold of the tc button before shutting car off. If you accidentally shut car off with all disabled still, you can just restart you car within 5 - 20 minutes or so and it will reset and not run battery dead

Quick question my car is taser it's 16 rt to get track mode does the taser has to be in the port , my friend unlocked certain stuff for my car with the taser but I wasn't able to get the timers , does that mean it needs the actual taser in same for track mode ?
I think only 1 person has ever said it was a problem. This is a simple uninstall mod - I wouldn't even bother though. It's just unlocking features all ready there
I need some more information on how it syncs with a camera. Does it display a live feed on the display at will? I would buy it for that feature alone if it works like that. I’m strongly interested in a night vision, infrared, thermal camera for the front and rear if it can handle multiple cameras. Someone please enlighten me.
No it doesn't do anything like that. You can get a tuner & that will have the throttle adjustment option, just not to the same degree as the pedal commander

No you can keep it out of the port. You only need it plugged in for the line lock feature. I don't think this voids your warranty, it's easily installed/uninstalled. It also doesn't mess with anything other then the software in side your car.
R/T Life nice. The only thing I always wondered about. Is how can it possibly adjust suspension on scat packs & others. If it doesn’t have the same type of adjustable suspension as SRT & HELLCAT etc etc. you know what I’m saying
I recently ordered a tazer and for some odd reason it would not initiate. I have a 16 Rt 5.7 and it blinks green but does nothing when initiating the left button and cancel. 🤷🏽♂️

I like that I can turn on my high beams with my fog lights. Not the biggest mod but I've already found it helpful

I don't believe their is a cheaper method to get timers going. The only think I can imagine is maybe an APP on your phone but I doubt it's accurate

Launch control dont work with my 2017 RT or shift light if it did would of been well worth it

You will like the cool down feature when you hit up the strip. My fat ass love the easy in/out so much. But you're right, the STP trim has a lot of these goodies. I love the SRT pages though, they look sexy!
I got one during a sale, $250, still worth the extra $50. Even just to save time on startup putting everything how I want it only takes 6 seconds after startup. I gotta turn off TC, well mostly.

I've had a Tazer from ZAutomotive for a while now. The business is actually right next to where I work. The only feature I use is E-Z out though. Most of the other features prevent my remote start from working on my RT+.

I love the Tazer. I got it for two main reasons 1: enable paddles since I didn’t have them and I bought hellcat ones and needed it to turn them on. 2: backup camera. Though I still haven’t gotten it. But also I love the extra timers and also extra info like air intake temp and more. I think you only get track mode if you have the Plus or higher package. Since mines not a RT plus track mode and launch control does not work. But I do get the performance pages and can do the full disable all nanny / traction control. Ooo also like the enable fogs with high beams.
Def has so many benefits. You might be right though about the track mode. Either way I think this is a solid investment because no matter the trim other then hellcat it really unlocks so many cool features.

R/T DRE yea I tried SRT pages and then I only had normal mode. My sport button stopped working. I’m betting my car will not be like any other since when I asked FCA for my production numbers. Mike is only 1 of 9 built like mine in 2017. Very rare.
Hey fellas quick question...I just installed srt paddle shifters on my base model 2015 5.7L challenger and paddles won't work. Is there a way to enable that setting without spending $250+ on tazer just so that I can enable that. I have no need for the other features the tazer comes with tbh.

If You have a 2011 and up with the 8.4" Uconnect, I say it's worth it 💁🏾♂️ purks outweigh the cons so why not.? No, it doesn't add power, but it does add features. Tazer, and Pedal Commander are two must have practicality adders
I agree with you on that. Both very solid mods for what they offer. Both easy mods & basically plug/play. Driver experience mods

I just recently got 2019 rt Daytona. And I love it. Currently it does have performance pages, that track my hp, tq, fuel, timers etc... but it does not have track mode or cooldown. And it looks different.
I dont think i really need the tazer for track mode, the only benefit it will provide for me is keeping the valves open on my active exhaust. Which is good but not $300 good. I might save my money for mid muffler delete and tune down the line.
With the super track pack RT wiould it still be worth getting a tazer cause these come with alot of good features.
All the features are listed, it's up to you whether you think they're worth the price tag. It's kind of pricey

2018 R/T with Tazer set to enable SRT pages trips an ABS light for some reason??? But track mode works with ABS light on. Also have the bypass and steering wheel buttons from same company.

Do you have factory GPS? The Tazer allows you to let your passenger input an address while the car is in motion, which is nice. I get that it's a safety feature to prohibit the DRIVER, but sometimes I like to allow my PASSENGER to work the GPS while I drive. Just taking a page from the aviation world of crew resource management (CRM).
Yes I do have GPS stock in my RT - this Tazer does have some really nice features though.

I like the tazer. The airbag light bothers me. Also when I’m in track mode, mds still kicks in. Not sure if I can get rid of it other than getting a tune.
When you get a custom tune ask them to remove MDS - that's what I did.

I was able to get track mode - don't see a reason why you wouldn't. I really didn't notice a difference though between track mode & sport mode.

I got the tazer for my 2021 charger rt daytona and i installed it and did the full reboot unplugged and plug back in the fuse and everything and when j turn my car on my uconnect screen is blue now and i lost the performance pages that came with my car and i can't access srt drive modes :( i feel like i ruined my car i turned on srt everything with the tazer and still nothing tbh i regret installing it

@@RTLife yes it would. Especially if U had R/T scat pack. A suggestion 4 a video how to drive an R/T scat pack in winter conditions; best tires to use so U can handle Ice n Snow driving safely. So U don't wreck your car. Since most of the dodge Challengers, Chargers video s on UA-cam don't cover these issues
I was told that if you used the free trial of the Uconnect access (or payed), the SRT pages would not show up on the touch screen. But you would still have access to the SRT pages in the dash. I don't know the validity of the rumor, but that's the only reason why I've been afraid to buy the taser (because I used the free trials).
remember you can always switch things on/off - with it. Who knows, you may be able to activate the SRT pages because of the trial

Hi, have you tried appcar diagfca solution? I was able to turn on Performance Pages on my 2016 Dodge Charger R/T, modify lamps behavior. I do not know if it is exactly the same, but maybe it is some cheaper solution to get at least some key feature (like easy out/easy in)

You have likely 380 crank HP stock. I would say an intake/mid muffler delete & tune would get you an extra 20+ HP

Just traded my 18 durango rt for a 21' durango rt tow n go..it has track mode!!! But with the extra tow power, adaptive suspension, srt muffler n brembos...they they didn't increase the HP!!! Which sux! Trying to.find some plug n play mods or maybe even a tune but having trouble finding on YT. Any suggestions?!

The tazer makes it so you can press your tc button and hold it in for like 7 seconds then all TC and esp shut off so you can do donuts, burnouts, and slide around corners and such...just have to make sure you dont turn your car off with all those disabled or your battery might run down. (Found out the hard way lol) doesn't hurt anything just jumped the car and battery was fine.) Just a fyi you just need to re enable the tc and esp with another long hold of the tc button before shutting car off. If you accidentally shut car off with all disabled still, you can just restart you car within 5 - 20 minutes or so and it will reset and not run battery dead

What I have heard is no it doesn't. Dealerships shouldn't really get on your case for upgrading the uconnect software in your RT

Quick question my car is taser it's 16 rt to get track mode does the taser has to be in the port , my friend unlocked certain stuff for my car with the taser but I wasn't able to get the timers , does that mean it needs the actual taser in same for track mode ?
Once you install the taze you don't need to keep it in. Maybe he didn't active the SRT modes in your RT?
Have you heard of any one being flagged from the dealership; flagging the VIN and loosing the warranty with this mod?
I think only 1 person has ever said it was a problem. This is a simple uninstall mod - I wouldn't even bother though. It's just unlocking features all ready there
I need some more information on how it syncs with a camera. Does it display a live feed on the display at will? I would buy it for that feature alone if it works like that. I’m strongly interested in a night vision, infrared, thermal camera for the front and rear if it can handle multiple cameras. Someone please enlighten me.

No it doesn't do anything like that. You can get a tuner & that will have the throttle adjustment option, just not to the same degree as the pedal commander

After installing it you can unplug it. The only thing it needs to stay in for is the line lock & light show

No you can keep it out of the port. You only need it plugged in for the line lock feature. I don't think this voids your warranty, it's easily installed/uninstalled. It also doesn't mess with anything other then the software in side your car.
R/T Life nice. The only thing I always wondered about. Is how can it possibly adjust suspension on scat packs & others. If it doesn’t have the same type of adjustable suspension as SRT & HELLCAT etc etc. you know what I’m saying

Yes you can - just go through the settings & revert them back while the tazer is plugged in.
