The name is KidGreatness, not Kid Greatness.
Posh areas in Nairobi are , Runda, Muthaiga, Nyari, kitisuru and karen... Westlands and Kileleshwa can pass for upper middle class .
Wow! Thank you Kid on behalf of the hustlers in Kenya for supporting small businesses in the lower middle class cities/towns. Blessings to you my brother.
Thanks, I'm just showing love
@@KidGreatness Yes you are sir. Yes you are. Dopeness.
It just shows you how we are being scammed big time in America and the UK. Things are EXPENSIVE in the west because of greed. I haven’t see the same amount of homeless in Kenya as I have in the states and Europe. I would gladly live in the local area if it meant I was spending a fraction of the cost I would be spending in the west. I’m also sure that the less posh area is way more safer than any US ghetto.
Yes, I walked around at night and nobody bother me.
Westlands aint posh,,westlands and the likes of Kilimani are Middle class areas...You haven't explored the posh areas
roysambu, embakasi, githurai, roosters, buruburu, allsops, kariobangi, donholm, utawala gives Nairobi the culture you think of Kenya, this estates are like americans your comptons, surprisingly anyone who has lived here can go to the posh areas but he will never leave what he learnt over here, appreciation, hustle, friendships, savings most importantly sherehee,,, ( ps ) the connectivity in the houses is good homes are good basically you live poshier staying in this areas than kilimani(middle class), if food is cheap, clothes cheaper, housing cheap then you have more money to spend on your secondary needs, savings and investments
Damn that some fer'ass 😂😂😂
Came across your channel from a video you did on InternationalZoe's channel with Aston Hollman. Your channel is completely different, respect.
Don’t know about living there but I’d love to visit from time to time, get to know the locals and give back once I touch down. That’s a beautiful Kenyan Sistah definitely plan on marrying one this probably won’t make sense to express but the Nyash is nyash-ing 😂🤣🤦🏾♂️🍑
Two sides left cheek❤right cheek
😂😂crazy
🎉😅
Men of Culture Watch out for the money shot around 18:15
Cameraman definitely understood what was needed ...
THERE ARE AREAS OF AMERICA THAT LOOK EXACTLY LIKE THE ROUGH SIDE OF WHAT YOU SHOWED.... HELL NEW YORK, PHILLY, DETROIT, WEST SIDE OF CHICAGO, CINCINNATI
400 shillings per day is enough to get you going in this Eastlando neighborhood
Nice content KG. I appreciate your willingness to venture where others are too uptight to visit and share. Stay safe out there and keep up the good work. 👍🏾
Dude his very very safe
🙏 🙏
It's better living there. You can buy fresh fruit and vegetables walking down the street. Here in the US we have paved roads and strip malls and over priced junk food
id rather paved roads than dirt roads.. im good right where im at !!
@satanspy they are very many places in Kenya with paved roads its the amount of money that will determine where you live..OK...
Great information brother and great videos!!! Please more videos
Damn that chick kinda 🔥
That lane you playing with at the bowling place 😂we played on the exact same lane at that place
That's funny 😂
who's the beautiful woman?
If i told you some people who live there travel to Europe and America more than you? Would you believe? I haven't learnt the culture of kenyan 😊they are low-key pipo.
Ask around😊
Its even cheaper, cleaner and safer if you get out of Nairobi.
I'd like visit. Give me some suggestions.
KidGreatness you are the exception not the rule. Alot of Americans will not be able to adjust. To the conditions in Africa, you find amazing and opportunistic. many won't be able to do so. They will start missing and complaining about conveniences and the dysfunction will start to creep in. I am a firm believer is not everywhere works for everyone and not everyone is supposed to travel. A certain personality trait like yours and a few others will be the only ones to adjust in Africa.
Wow Kenya have it going on I don't know why they say Kenya is a third world country. Don't look like a third world country to me.
Yo....I'll be in Nairobi for my 2nd time this coming May I actually developing a US based company and opening a branch to operate in Kenya. Hopefully I'll run into you while I'm out there
I was dating a girl in that area. Its fucked up outside but surprisingly ok inside.
the good thing about kenya is there are no homeless people like the US , Africa is blessed, its only those roads
How can people be homeless when there are at home?.
Man! She nice and healthy natural
Because we're in a third world country, we never call such a place a ghetto 🤣
It would take some getting use to, but...If I had to yeah. I could live there but would prefer not too...I'd just have to adjust
It's actually pretty chill there.
Great vid bro keep it up
The moment you travel you dont want to settle
Moving to Kenya soon do you no any tailors
I grew up in such a place and its hard to put an a erage income. We had downgraded
recently divorced women coming from bourgeois neighborhoods, neighbours barely scrapping by and almost entirely depended on other neighbours for food. Dome owned the buildings snd collected rents from entire apartments, hustlers like the young man there and thieves ... But the comradery was great.
She got cake
good content !
Tell me where this is ? I can live there just to get away from America for a few months
Nairobi Kenya
@@KidGreatness there are different sides, I was referring to the $100 a month apartments.
The other cities in Kenya are waay cheaper
She is 🔥🔥🔥 wow. What tribe is she from?
Things were even cheaper if you had arrived like a year ago
Rules and Regulations, you think the government allows just to open sidewalk business ?? i like that type of business but it would cause chaos in western type country cities
Wow! Kenyan girl with a lovely figure ❤
as long as they got wifi I can live there 6:49
After buying monthly groceries, People live on 400-500 bob a day in the areas you are exploring. If you are spending 1000 and above, you are overdoing it.
I had my Airbnb on Joseph Kangethe rd in Kenya and it wasn't so much like this but it had many locals there. Some eve got into a crazy fight while I was there. I must say I enjoyed my time over there being around real people.
Now I'm in Killimani where is is nicer but the real feel isn't here.
Getting the local vibe is always refreshing.
Hakuna ghetto alienda... 😅😅😅
My guy fr fr Amma be in Nairobi next week
Good video, but I would love to hear your commentary without saying "like" as often as you did in this video.
Being American i don't see it as a blessing.we live like that but we don't live on credit
😂 nice one follow in uncles foot steps 😊
🤣
Great video
Where did you go specifically in Nairobi?
Does she do you tube too. ?
Bro honestly ahah hope that mama is just your comrade otherwise redflag 👍🏽💯
sounds like, she didn't give him the pumpum 😢 lol
Highly unlikely ... But possibly.
Can you do apartments for 100 to 200 usd a month
Yeaap. Easy peasy
How much to buy an apartment in this area like 1 bedroom?
You hate The Knicks!?😮😢
Better buy That 🤠
All latt AZZ!!! You got to be packin’ to handle that!
kwani hawakujua buruburu nyayo na south c is for middle
Pink Cakes ✨🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
GYAAT
Huyu dem ni matako sana... Ati sweet banana zinaitwa sweet sugar.. huyu jamaa alitafta wannabe akue tour guide kwanza kanakaa wale madem wakuuza nudes 50😂
How do you define poor coz this isn't a poor area. Don't be fooled by the infrastructure and the humble hustling. Everyone in Nairobi is a hustler.
And life in these estates is far much better than the areas you mention in US but I can tell you already have perception saying people don't speak English??
I love your videos but this one is a letdown- perception before understanding.
Try to understand how life here is first, you can't measure USA lifestyle and the expenses to define poverty in a country with less expenses
I used the words poor and rich to show the dichotomy between the areas.
I didn't say people can't speak English. I said people get nervous when speaking to me because I speak very fast. I have been told this many times in Nairobi.
@@KidGreatness Ooh, I get what you mean.
Anyway, it was just my observation as your follower.. keep doing your thing as you enjoy life ✌️ 🙌
It's just a catchy title KG has about the video. Please watch and listen to his content so you can get a better understanding of what he was showing. He was actually supporting the local businesses and showing that side of humble living versus the upper-class type of living. Nothing wrong with that cause that is Kenya and I love my motherland with all its craziness and goodness. That is life everywhere in the world. Watch before you judge.
the lady was right those guys he calls poor earn atleast 3k a day selling fast moving items, where he comes from u can't get that unless u are a corner guy hehe
Dude the best spot to get away from technologies reminds me of Haiti
That first shot , o girl was thick ❤
Most kenyans live below $3a day.that lady doesn't knw most stuff, she still lives with the mother so excuse her
Maybe most Kenyans but definitely not most Nairobians, daily transport alone in Nairobi can easily get to that $3 and you still haven't added food and other expenses
I don't think she understood the questions .... She may have thought he was asking about maximum earning potential of those shops.
Damn bro drop the @ on her!!!😫😩
please do not insult the locals because their costs of living is less than your American lifestyle.
When did I insult the locals?
Did you even listen to what he was saying on that video? Did you even watch what he was showing? What are you talking about insulting? Who insulted the locals? Geez. Stop with the smelly negativity sir. smdh.
@@jaynewanjira3541lol why are you more triggered than Kid himself?😂the negativity in your response is waaayyy higher than the original post..irony!
Where exactly did he insult the locals ,infact what i saw was a pure good heart he supported a fellow btother when he bought those kofia's n hes encouraging more people to do the same ..wacha kutu bore naniii...@@KidGreatness
@mizzcatt7691Cmon lol.😆, I was pissed seeing this comment as well. I'm an Ethiopian diaspora from Europe, and the OP of this comment, who paradoxically is white based on his profile pic, is deliberately falsely claiming Kid Greatness did something he didn't. Writing something like that is rude and pretty insane. These white people are always trying to create division among black people.
Clearly, there exists a significant socioeconomic disparity that can be pretty shocking for us Africans born abroad or Black Americans. When I visit places like Addis, Hargeisa, or certain neighborhoods in Kigali like Nyamirambo, I can't help but appreciate the standard of living I enjoy at home in Europe. There's nothing amiss about this; it's simply gratitude.
America also has homeless people and poor neighourhoods😢😢😢😢don't compare bro remember this a thirdword still developing😮
Is that your girlfriend/wife? I'm from Australia and most of my dating site matches are from Kenya and Uganda. The women are beautiful and will probably make a better wife than someone at home.
