    I like the honesty and excitement in this review. Thanks a lot! I really thinking this (or the 20” version) will be my nest snowmobile.

      If you want full honesty, I think for what WE do, 20” sleds should only be 2 stroke…. Don’t get me wrong, a 900 20” is a versatile snowmobile, but it’s just not the answer for OUR use. The weight is really really noticeable when the snow has no bottom.

    If you like this sled, you should try an Xterrain with the 900R.

      I actually own an Xterrain 850. I think I’ll stick to 2 strokes in my sport sleds for a while yet…. I would like to try a turbo Xterrain though, just to compare

    what year is this? i didn't know you can get an Expedition with the 24? Thought it was an option on the Skandic.

      The Expedition Turbo R 24” was new in 2023. There was a 150hp Turbo Expedition available in 2022.
      There was a 2024 Skandic Turbo option during spring order but due to lack of interest it was dropped

      thanks for response. I snowchecked the Terra Green 2024 Expedition SE 900 Turbo. My parents did the same only the Black version instead. Our first snowmobiles ever! Snowtrax TV says the 900 Turbo now makes 130 (135?) hp and not 150hp. Same motor just detuned to show more of a gap so you 'll pay more for the R. Not sure if that's true or not. Regardless, we are anxiously waiting for the deliveries and snow. @@AndrewMilleyPerformance

    Very nice, I think the 850etec in a 24 wide would be a great machine also not sure if brp offers that yet or not

    How big of a difference is there in floatation and maneuverablity of this 24" to a 20"? Harder to make turns?

      There is an unbelievable difference between the 20” and 24” towing a sleigh. Also in wet snow conditions the 24” really outperforms the 20”, like it’s not even comparable… the turning isn’t awful with upgraded carbides

      @@AndrewMilleyPerformance ok. When sitting does it feel wide or uncomfy? I am a shorter person, so I may have to sit on one first before committing.

      @@sengx the xu chassis 24” was known to be uncomfortable for a lot of people. There were huge improvements made to the g4 with seat height, seat and panel shape and foot well/running board design. I’m only 5’9” or so and I have no issues, but some people do. I would suggest at least sitting on one before making a large purchase

      @@AndrewMilleyPerformance awesome, thanks. I have a 2020 polaris titan and though I like it, I want a turbo and 24 wide track. I only use it for ice fishing, so I would love even more floatation and power to get out of nasty stuff

      I rode 2020 and 2021 20” Expeditions. They really weren’t for me. I have also ridden 2022 24” turbos, stock and tuned to 180hp. The stock one was manageable in “normal” mode. The tuned one was very similar to this new Turbo R…. For me the best part of the Turbo R is you don’t need to mess with modes. It’s perfectly drive-able in sport!

    Хороший снегоход,но к сожалению очень низкий рессурс двигателя. Как правило 10 000 км не больше.Затем ремонт двигателя. Почему-то начинается детонация, разрушается поршневая система,трескается выпускной коллектор. Знаю несколько таких фактов. Имею снегоход LYNX69 Ranger900 ace turbo, выпущен в 21 году,т.е 22 м.годаПока пробег не большой и все в порядке ,но что будет через несколько лет не знаю и это беспокоит. Этот снегоход не для самостоятельного обслуживания.
