The way you cobbled together such an amazing framed landscape painting on the fly is amazing. It was your video on laminate flooring that tipped me over the edge to try it myself recently and the end result really gave the all white room a wow factor. Love your channel and approach to DIY. Thanks
I was amazed! The attention to detail throughout the makeover was impressive, and the final result looked like something out of a home design magazine.
I am so envious of you, I have a three-bedroom house with a total of nine rooms and none of them had 90° corner, the worst of them worked out at 95° and corner coving will not fit.
Outstanding job. You have a fabulous eye for design. Everyone wishes they have such a room to get away from the world and let their mind and body enjoy the tranquility. Thanks for sharing, DIY Princess.
So many unique products. It's one thing I've enjoyed in all your project postings, things I've never heard about. I can't wait to employ some of them in my projects. Thanks for sharing.
New subbie here. Very nice office reno. Have you considered a sleek-looking rolling mat for your office chair? Don't know if it rolls without getting caught up in the rugs. I purchased a glass floor mat from Wayfair. It keeps me untangled and allows rolling over rugs.
You have proved what I discovered years ago... that a dark color on a ceiling actually makes it receed and appear higher ...it's a total myth that painting a ceiling white makes it appear higher
I painted it “shutters” by Dunn-Edwards DURA. The trim is original to the home, I just freshened it up with the stain Varathane American Walnut & Chestnut mixed together
I will probably do something with the doors in the future, but I’ve painted the trim in my last two houses and I regret it. Stained wood trim is significantly more durable and painted trim looks good for about two months before baseboards and window jambs need touch up. It’s especially impractical with children. Also, idk if you’ve ever painted trim but both times I did it it took months to get the whole house done and it’s mind numbing level tedious. All that AND white trim is (finally) starting to go out of style. I have a pretty good pulse on the home style and decor community having followed hundreds of people in this niche daily for a decade. I give it two more years before almost no one is painting trim work, similar to how brightly colored furniture is out, no one is doing pastel anymore, gray has become associated with millennials in the way carpet is associated with the 70s, etc. Sorry for the long answer 😬 lol
@@WelcometotheWoodsBlog no this is a really helpful opinion! I'm also afraid it will go out of style in a few years, but my wood trim isn't particularly nice or old - and it makes the house look very dark so I'm considering painting it. Love this perspective though and love all your videos!! I especially like that you do everything yourself. As a single woman home-owner it is really nice to see someone take on project without their husband/boyfriend/father to help them. Thank you!
The painting is gorgeous. Is there no end to your talents?? 😀

That ceiling looks phenomenal! You did a beautiful job on the room! 🧡🧡🧡
I love what you did with the ceiling and your painting is beautiful as well!
Entire room is beautiful! That painting is gorgeous! With the limited view from the window, the painting provides such a nice focal point.
THAT PAINTING...Such a good idea. I'm definitely gonna try that!! Beautiful room 🤩
Glad to see Minnesota and Manitoba have about the same amount of snow this late in the year!
The ceiling is amazing. The room looks so good!

Fantastic! Thank you.
From a fellow remodeler... use a wide attachment on a Shop-Vac on your walls to remove dirt and grime before painting and after wall boarding

Beaitiful! Did you get the 1/4 thickness or 3/8? Sorry if you said and i missed it.
I don’t see a link to the exact ceiling tiles you purchased from architectural depot.
I'm pretty sure I've seen this already. Still beautiful
I think the carpet seems gives the room a “freshly vacuumed” feel
What color did you paint the ceiling? Can you also please share the trim info?

Could you please share the crown molding info?
nice👌🏻🌼
I have similar trim in my house and am considering painting it. Any thoughts? Why did you decide not to paint the trim or replace the doors?

You should watch Hannah's happy home she cleans and does house project's. And you should watch Ben her a great movie 👍
At first I thought Kate Mara !!
What are you planning to do with this house? Are you going to move into this house when it’s done?
Molecular gravity?

💖💖💖👍👍👍
👍🏻😍👍🏻
Love the ceiling, I would paint the doors and trim white, dark wood looks so outdated.
