This was and still is the most eargasmic, brutal, and visually intense set I've ever seen. BLOODY AMAZING!! My virgin Aphex experience after having been a fan for fifteen years. Just spent my Sunday arvo reliving this. Thanks a bunch!
Can't believe I only just saw this. Not to be picky, but its XMAS_EVE1N from the MACHROMT30a 12". I only mention it, and I'm sure you can relate, but XMAS EVE blew me away that night. I'm right up at the front row. You cant get an Idea of how loud it was. iPhone mic's weren't v good back in 12, but I was on the left of the stage almost directly in from tof the left PA speaker stack. And thank Christ I decided to record it, or I would've had to s wait two years before I heard those haunting, cascading bell chimes again. But, back then, we still had no idea id he'd even release anything again. So when SYRO came out, of course I was overjoyed to finally hear those cascading bell chimes in high quality audio, but it wasn't the same track Id been making do with in this set. So, when MACHROMT30a dropped, It was a good day. I finally had that track I saw live. I had prepared for the fact I may never hear it again as much as I hoped It would come out. Little did I know when the set ended that night, that Little over two years later, the unreleased flood gates would open and I wouldn't only have XMAS, but every unreleased track I ever wanted...
Hey man. Thanks for the id’s. Only one I e been trying to id since the night I filmed this is the first track you’ve ID’ed as Chained Melody by Vibert. This ID is on the Coachella 08 set list too, and to this day nobody has been able to either confirm this track exists under this title, exists under a different title, or exists as a vibert track at all. People have argued that it’s Theme Of St. Baafs (The Bells) by Mental Overdrive. Similar but no cigar. Someone on the afx subreddit suggested a few years back it was an Amen Andrews track slowed down. I’ve been though all AA, Spac hand Luke Plug, Kerrier District and any other DnB vibert tracks and it’s not one of them. And I’ve never once found an unreleased vibert track titled Chained Melody. Do you have a link or possibly have a file of this “chained melody” track? Happy to swap or dump any number of files I have you might be after if you like. Ultimately, I just want to finally confirm a legit ID to this track and put it to rest. Be nice if I can before the 11th anniversary…
@@DarkFutureConsolidated I've edited to clarify that it's indeed unconfirmed. Some UA-cam commenter on another video with a plausible amount of inside knowledge said that it was a Vibert track under that name. I'll look for where that was said and post the link to the comment later.
@@jatsko3113 thanks man. Good luck. I’m not closed to it being some unreleased Vibert track, but I’ve sifted through a LOT of the more obscure and rarer vibert cuts with no luck, but, I have to tell you, I was sceptical of the Vibert claim from the get go. It just doesn’t sound or feel like a Vibert tune. And that goes for all his various styles and genres he’s put out over the years…
@@DarkFutureConsolidated I didn't see that set, but I'll check it out! Thanks I think the comment about the alleged Vibert track was on the original upload of Aphex's 2008 Coachella set, which has since been removed from YT. I'll try to get a name for the channel claiming the knowledge and pass it along to you.
I don't think I'd ever know what it's like at his show if it wasn't for these uploads. I don't know when he last did a show in the states. Hope he releases more sometime before I'm old.

Tried recording him at the Enmore Theatre but he killed my camera
Anyone got an ID on the first tune? Sounds similar in style to one of his unreleased ones he played at the Metz gig. Very nice.
I didn't know Aphex Twin could scratch. That's crazy.
