I like how at the start, the crowd is barely moving, Aphex is playing oldies and smoothies... Then around 15 minute mark, shit gets real, crowds starts moving and woo-ing. Beats are nice and well mixed.
six years since i witnessed this set.. i’ve only seen RDJ five times but this was mind blowing to say the least! the amount of original stuff he played this night floored me, was one after the other... and that bit 35min in (the tuss/digeridoo/garden of linmiri/meltphace) was LIKE FKN HEAVEN... i’ll never get that high again -no drug pun intended!!! 😝🤘
A big Thankyou To Pigster01 for recording this entire set. It was fucking amazing just watching it, I bet it was out of this world actually being there. I've only seen Richard live twice before and I felt a bit bad that I didn't video-record it for people to see, but I wanted to be free so I could jump around and dance! This is an amazing seta and an amazing capture. Love it. Would have been my dream set to attend. I was at the Brisbane set. It was great too, though you guys got 10 min more than us and a heap more recognisable tracks. You've inspired me to upload my vid of the Bris set. Its about 60% ATM. Should be up sometime tomorrow. I think he was a little jet lagged in Bris, being the first set of the tour. Shit day weather wise too. I'd love to know yr thoughts when its up. Thanks again man:) Great video.
BTVagrant was absolutely fucking insane!!! i've only seen him 5 times but this was amazing! especially the tuss/digeridoo/linmiri/meltphace mix in the middle... i remember him banging his head to the beat very late in the set and giving two thumbs up to the crowd before he departed -the guy was obviously loving it! so happy to have seen this, it was an epic set 🙃
