- Yellow butter, purple jelly, red jam, black bread. HAHAHAHA Tongue twisters are actually a valuable excercise for speech-but mostly, they are fun.

That's true! After my mom had a stroke speech therapy gave her tongue twisters to help her regain strength in her mouth and throat. I wish you had been around then so she could do them with you. ❤ thank you for warming my heart and making me smile

Thank you Pluto and Pluto's Mum. Tripped over my tongue as I tried to repeat those tongue twisters. Try Danny Kaye's speech from Court Jester and say it really quickly - "The pellet with the poison is in the vessel with the pestle, the chalice from the palace has the brew that is true", or "the pellet with the poison is in the flagon with the Dragon, the vessel with the pestle has the brew that is true". I loved the speed and manner in which Danny Kaye spoke this in that movie. 😂🤣

thanks so much Pluto, for all of your postings. the only one i ever disagreed about was the one about cats, because i think they are amazeballs, and i even get migraines from their litterbox uroliths! the secret is to be friends with cats who prefer to eliminate al fresco. i send your posts to people who are working way too hard in the medical field to cheer them up, and they like it. you always make me smile and laugh, and i love your research into historical facts. may you and your mom and her elephants and tigers live long and prosper.
