Hello Brian, this is Roy the guy who supply you with pep spray. You need to check out this breakfast cafe called ZRV Breakfast and Coffee. Its one of the best in Angel City. Turn down Narciso Ave, it will bend to the right street called Elwira St. right hand side at the end of the street. I Beleave you will like it.

Glad to see you give Papi's a try for breakfast. In the process you found a place that was cheaper than your old "haunt"...so as you said....."you are winning".....that is peso in your pocket. Even though you are leaving next month, you should expand your exploring on breakfasts at different locations.....that would be something different...

I love Philly's, one of my favorite bars and restaurants in Angeles. I'm English and absolutely love the fish and chips and the meat pies!
I was told the fish and chips is good. I will have to give it a try before I leave.

I have to tell you that breakfast sandwich at Phillies looked really good with the cucumber slices on the side. I could have that every day for a month before getting tired of it.

I love the 2 egg Omelette with Ham and Cheese with Fries.
You made me really hungry. Breakfast is my favorite meal when im over there. You should keep going to different places. I've been a fan of Margarita Station since my first trip there in 2007. Worth mentioning their brewed coffee is good and has always been cheaper than all the other foreigner places.
Looks great. Both places. Many seems gets all American Breakfast & the Biscuits n gravy from Pappies, hopping next is VFW n XRV to review.
I like biscuits and gravy. Also chicken fried steak, hash browns, eggs over medium. I need a nap just thinking about it. Maybe I shouldn’t order it all at once. If I can find a place that serves that then I’m a loyal customer.

I'm here in GenSan, not many Foreigners here. My biggest complaint, hard to get food I really enjoy. The service is always great.
Are you vaccinated against hepatitis A and Typhoid or is it not necessary where you are.?? Do you take care with what you drink and eat to prevent them.
Why coffee usually isn’t included? Cost them about 2-5 cents a cup so…..follow the money. They charge from (in US) from $2 to $3 bucks (4 is highest Ive witnessed) to make up for the low markup on meal, especially bkfst. Even if they refill you 3-4 times they’re still up profit.
Used to be included at one time.
What do you suggest for best beach area near subic bay? We are in San Jose Bulacan and never traveled that way.
I am not sure whether the person who converted that old building into what is now Phillies was from your home State, but I am sure the Kiwi manager Neil would know. It stayed empty for a long time, I think it was opened in the 00's.
If I don’t cook breakfast at home, Papi’s is my #1 all time “go-to” for breakfast here in AC. Shoot, I even go there for other meals as well.
I have tried ZRV. Their breakfast is good as well. The resto is a little compact for my liking. Parking stalls are limited.

McD’s? Quit them when my kid didn’t wanna go anymore…..that was in the late ‘70’s. Did drink their coffee up to about ‘17-‘18. They had great coffee.

Ate at Phillies many times during my stay THERE in Jan 2012 . At the time they had a breakfast special P99 with bottomless coffee ... Heard a story that any waitress looking to be hired there had to be able to fit in the uniform -- they only had one size !!!!!

Cause I love this Philadelphia freedom from the day I was born I’ve waved the flag.
CDO City has a wonderful little place, CDO Hungry Breakfast. The only issue was no black coffee. Food made up for it and is very reasonably priced. I gave the place 4.5 stars. Would be 5 if they had black coffee.
I have no one to blame but myself if it’s bad because I make my own breakfast most of the time. I usually have something I don’t make myself like waffles when I go out.
You should try some breakfast with sausages .. longannesa or whatever.. bacon and longannesa potato and eggs..

I'm not sure how long it's been since you been back in the States. I think it was last year, but it would be hard to find a breakfast like that & with that sort of quality, you'd be hard pressed to find it for less than $12-15 base price. Not to mention some restaurants are starting to charge service charge("covid" charge) plus expect a 20, 22 or 25% tip. Then when you pay the tip, it tells you the extra tip you should give directly to the waiter on top of the service charge and regular tip.
You can get a breakfast for that price @ McDonald's, but it will be a small sandwich & maybe a coffee for $7⁶⁴. The quality of McDonald's was never good, but now the price is higher, quality is questionable at best.
Loved the review on the breakfast. I want to try many of their menu items there at Papi's.

Most sports bars in Angeles City will show live events.

Good video. I don't understand the American Breakfast should have 2 pieces of toast. You only get i piece in the Philippines. In America breakfast always comes with 2 pieces oh toast. The VFW serves 2 pieces of toast..
Papi's American Breakfast does come with 2 pieces(4 halves) of toast. You can also request 1 biscuit instead of the toast.
@douglasmac4697 Impossible to beat a traditional English breakfast. Two fried or poached eggs 🥚 sausage bacon ( not crispy) mushrooms , black pudding baked beans hash browns. Two full slices of toast and a mug of tea 🍵 🇬🇧
@samual3006 Yes, English breakfast put American breakfast to shame.good thing with English breakfast is even good for dinner real food.but you know the guys from 🇺🇸 think everything there country do is best but is not. Aussie and kiwi breakfast almost same as English.

Have you noticed everything is going up now. Grocery shopping is expensive now. A good breakfast is the way to start your Day.😎
The breakfast at both places looked really tasty. I bet you will miss eating, and visiting, at some of your favorite places when y'all move out to the province. It will be much longer and you will be having to watch out for Cobras. Hahaha

Good alternatives to avoid the other cook who doesn’t know how to cook an egg. You must have been on pins and needles wondering how your food would be delivered. I was watching this and hoping for the best.
