It feels kinda awkward when fists start flying, all the energy misdirected has a weird feel to it. Sometimes they will almost fall over because you not only redirect the punch but their whole center or balance.

That's actually very good. Of course anything like this sails over the heads of the MMA "crowd." Interesting to see the Biu Ji connections with Laap sau.

Wing Chun and Kenpo are the biggest McDojos. The biggest waste of training time. This stuff won’t save you and will cause delusional confidence. Try this in real life and see what happens.

@@xalian17 well, now you defined the discussion. So I would first ask you to present facts supporting your claim that Wing Chun practitioners ,in general, can't fight. Remember, there are millions, worldwide. Also. Please define fighting.

Sounds like you have some inadequacy issues.
Not everyone studies martial arts because they have a damaged ego and need to prove something.
Many train martial arts like this to let go of the ego and for body/mind health.
Maybe try and spend some time looking at yourself and figuring out why you need to prove how tuff you are and what's causing you're inadequacy issues.
