I'm glad I could help, I knew this vid wouldn't get much traction. But I've wanted to make it for some time and if I only help a handful with it, it still needed to be done :)
I hate Gambit but low low low key it’s not bad, and I still play it for my unneeded Weekly. It’s the best it’s ever been at least, for whatever that’s worth
I see the potential, when played with a competitive mindset it's amazing! Unfortunately most go in there to get a powerful/exotic and couldn't care less for the scoreboard.
Thanks for the tips. Been playing a lot lately and I’m stuck on the 4 kills for malfeasance. It’s embarrassing going over 3 or 4 times in a match to only get a few kills. Any additional, specific loadout tips directed towards invading would be appreciated.
Try to get closer to their spawn, so if you can only get two or so kills you can at least spawn trap the others coming back. Golden gun and eyes of tomorrow/xeno are also very powerful. You want quick ranged kills as you don't want to spend your limited time chasing peeps.
I feel this. This was me raging yesterday going from a top .2% to a top 7% because my randoms couldn't even figure out how breathing works. 5 out of 7 games I lost 80 and 90 ELO when we should have won with ease. Hope to share this with more people, great vid!
Oh, I want to add: I disagree with never resing teammates. The spawn locations are often far away, so the total time they’re out of action is a detriment. You do give good examples of when it isn’t beneficial and you’re wasting time yourself, but it’s situational and not all the time or never thing.
It kinda depends on your team comp aye, sometimes delaying them from damage is good enough to give you that win if it's going to be a dps race. If it's a pvp race race it is most def frustrating.
I think people “suck” because they might be forced to play this old ass game mode. No one really cares about it but a select few I’m glad they made it so you can get the rewards in other playlists
In the past, yeah it felt like you were forced to level in there. But these days with light level not jumping up, it feels like the only reason to go in there would be for an ornament, the weapons or the seal. I want bygones back :(
I wish bungie would revamp gambit and make it worthwhile. Right now i just get tramed up against the same 4 man raid squad that ends the game in minutes while me and my fellow blueberrys havent evem summoned the primeevil yet.
I feel ya pain, four man's can be brutal. If you get a good melee or nade build with amplify, you can clear and collect without the need of a team. Sadly, all your hard work will unravel if they keep getting picked off by invaders :(
@@topcatgamer9402 yeah, I mean I also get picked off by invaders 😅. This video was great though. Definitely armed me with some better knowledge to make good decisions while playing.
This might be a good video but fur people who can understand wth all the terminology. When people are rattling off mods and sequences it's useless. Can anyone direct me to a more basic slower video?
@@topcatgamer9402 it is tbh, probably the most unskilled/cheesy combo way of playing. One person can carry a whole team if they keep wiping opponents during prime evil phase. Thunderlord ans Xenophage are basically 1-2 taps from halfway across map
I watch a lot of Destiny videos, and NO ONE has ever given out this much info on gambit! Thank you!

Great info, cheers. Can you share your DIM link please 👌
Awesome guide!
The most informative Gambit video I’ve seen!
Cheers
Cheers bro, there ain't many out there though :)

Great to hear!
When invading, use the map portals! You can often flank a group
So satisfying. I thought they were common knowledge but after talking to a group the other day they'd never even noticed them! :(

It's painful rite! Particularly when you win, get 6 elo. Lose, lose 100 elo :(
Every single time that I try to get a win in destiny 2 I get a bunch of retards on my team
Best part of this video was the Tenacious D reference 😂😂😂
To be your LOOOOVE...BITCH!
Do you happen to have a DIM link to your loadout?
dim.gg/67qdgji/GAMBIT-GOAT Happy hunting :)
@@topcatgamer9402what stats do you prioritize on this build?

12 - I had that exact thing happen to me! I would have even collected and deposited the last two motes if one of them wasn't stuck under the ground!
It's funny cause these motes are in other seasonal modes and dungeons but for some reason though don't vibe with the gambit maps

This is like listening to a foreign language I don't understand. What the heck is he going on about?
Im doing literally 30 damage on every weapon anyone know why? And how to fix it
What!?! thats crazy. No idea sorry
I can’t stand it when a member of your team invades right when the primeval comes up before they even damage it

what also pisses me off is seeing my teammates have killed like a hundred enemies and only banked 10 motes lol
Lol, these are the same guys who lfg a raid and say ' I got ad-clear'
@@topcatgamer9402 I'll find myself thinking "are there even that many ads that could have spawned"
perhaps they're invading and killing the enemies ads :)
Another Brain Dead move that they all do is shooting the envoys and blockers with their primary weapon 😤😡

ua-cam.com/video/QiG7EmqcACU/v-deo.html Hey chief, not many gambit vids out there aye. Any area in particular you're looking for help in?
How to get good at Gambit
1. Equip the Thunderlord/Xenophage
2. Spam the invade portals
You think it would be that easy rite??

3. get spawnkilled by an izi shot and realize you should've put on a sniper
