You got that right! However I’m wise to the property game and have Malagasy family so it’s not that bigger risk imo but it is a lot of money to put into one plot of land as normally I wouldn’t consider putting over £100,000 in one property, I guess we will find out together how this investment pans out.
I know what you’re saying but I’m married to a malagasy with kids and 10 years of business in Madagascar so it’s not the same as a guy arriving and investing €100,000 on day one. The way I see it is it’s a good bet that will pay off. I seen a one bed villa up for sale in nosy be for €120,000 today that makes my 4x 2 bed apartments worth a million there’s some crazy prices for property in nosy be

Rental prices are high for the quality -- due to a shortage of Western-level properties. It is a common issue in Africa, compared to SE Asia and other 'cheap' tourist areas. Like water, costs find their own level but glad to hear that you have a tolerant, niche European market to exploit; Americans would be far more demanding! Tourists offset the cheap nightlife and local services against the relatively-expensive accommodation and flights.
Trying to find a house with electricity water WiFi , aircon and on a good road / location is one in a million in Madagascar for that there is a handful of people that will pay a premium, this type of property can rent for €100 a night in Nosy be
@@passivenomads Exactly; the punters are a fairly small and specialist group, which keeps mass tourism out and helps maintain the natural character of the place. There’s no house it’s a building plot
Oh Danny boy, you have little faith in my ability to build passive income streams. I do love a little wager. How much are you thinking Danny? let’s do this.
everybody is looking for sweet deal but even at 10% is very sweet deal you must remeber 100K deal at 10 % is about average european retirement which is huge in Madagascar but things change,i am thinking where things will go with that Chinese buying huge land and investing millions,in Nosy Be you could be pushed out of market Tulear is much more difficult,no tourists there so bet on realestate is tougher, hotels are empty so i guess all comes to personal preferences and competitive pricing, you are personal and fair you get a customer
@@danieleverywhere132 Do you understand how the market works? The Chinese is certainly planing, in a long end, to build a Casino, but first he has to bring the CN tourists. Providing that this is what he wants to do. China is looking at Madagascar as a strong foot in Africa, and they can also decide to build a Navy base if they want to. This is a dream land for the Chinese. Corrupted government, the cheapest labor on the planet, a desert island where they will build stuff for free in trade for lands + open rights. You formulated it on point. You need to have this kind of "tranquil daring spirit" (which I unfortunately lack). Greetings from Diego.
