Damn that actually sounds perfect for the car. Not crazy loud like a res delete just a little extra growl on hard acceleration
do somethink for the rust . close of you rear light . , nice sound
I will I’m aiming for a complete overhaul or the car this year
These guys were using those cutting disc and saw blades till they were done done lol. This sounds great.
Now you need resonator delete and just intall a 2&1/2” straight pipe thats about 15-18 inches and clamps it down
How much did the shop charge? I’m looking at going to them?
About $250
I got a good nick name for ya car, RUSTY!!
😂
this sounds amazing. is it only the muffler being deleted and the tips being converted to quads? is everything else still stock like the resonators and cat?
Thanks and yeah everything is still stock except for the gutted cat and downpipe
Sounds stock tho
Trust me doesn’t sound stock at all it’s loud eventually I’m gonna change the setup
Someone help me out here because my brain is falling out my ears. So he bought the rear diffuser. Butchered the exhaust tips to fit the diffuser on. Then drove to the exhaust shop. Then removed the rear muffler which was originally in the way???? So time, energy and money was wasted in preparation. Wtf guys.
Well first off the muffler shops for some reason wouldn’t run the dual exhaust until the diffuser was on. My mechanic didn’t wanna remove the muffler just in case i wasn’t able to get the exhaust done that day he didn’t want the fumes to come into the cabin. It was jus luck that I took it to a muffler shop and they were able to do it that day.
@@Yungdieseltv the diffuser needed to be in place to not need guess for alignment. Your mechanic has nothing really to do with it. An exhaust shop if any good can do anything and everything exhaust related. I wrote that post ages go. I don't want to come across a hater buddy. I just recall watching the video thinking wtf waste or time energy and money. The original exhaust could have been sold on or donated to someone after the new installation was complete. But for purposes unknown to me I recall you just zipped the tips off. Today's minds are just.... Foolish, I dunno.
I don’t see you as a hater you made a valid point muffler shops just wanted the diffuser on first why idk I figured they were able to put the diffuser on then do the exhaust but didn’t want to I always had the diffuser in the car when I went. I actually still have the original exhaust and muffler that was cut off. I always keep the original parts when I install aftermarket parts. Still have my stock cat and air box too.
Nice dude. This is the exact sound I’ve been wanting. Everyone removes that center resonator and it sounds like shit. This is so much better leaving it in place, sounds nice and smooth
Thanks 👍🏾
I deleted the resonator below the rear seats and the muffler, and it’s loud and yes it does drone but it sounds good when you’re revving it, but I know I made a mistake so eventually I’ll go back an install a vibrant resonator and that should fix everything because if I just do a muffler delete it would sound stock basically 😅
Sounds bad.
I would have removed the resonator before putting the y pipe on and it would sound better.
Yeah should of did it first but I just wanted the dual pipes but I’m actually gonna change the exhaust up a bit tho.
@@Yungdieseltv I did it to my A5 and I going to do a stage 2 tune with a catless test pipe.
Nice, I still have to install my high flow cat from ECS
@@Yungdieseltv ie tuning makes it so toy can did yourself and its not a bad price for it. I hope you post a video of how it sounds after you get it on 👍
Yeah i will and I’ll do before and after comparison
No sound
Hey man, I’m wanting to do this on my b8 A4. How much did it cost you to get this done at that shop?
It cost me $270
@@Yungdieseltv not bad! Did you provide the pipes or the quad tips? Or is it $270 with the shops pipes and tips?
@@Jackherrow12 I only brought the tips
@@Yungdieseltv appreciate the help man! I got one last question 😂 do you have a link to those tips?

Hey man, I have a question, is your car consuming oil ? Because I bought a 2010 A4 Quattro 2 weeks ago and I notice that the car is consuming oil really bad and I don’t really know what to do with the car 😓
Mine does consume oil but its really more when i beat on the car from 08-12 burns oil they updated the engines in 13 which no longer burns oil. Any permanent solution will cost $$. You can also try using lucas oil that might help.
Its probably cheaper getting 2013 and up engine bcuz they solved the oil consumption issue. If my engine blows up more than likely that’s what I’ll do.
@@Yungdieseltv oh but I heard the that 2013-2015 2.0T still have the oil consumption problems 😓
Any turbo engine burns oil but it’s less frequent. As far as I know they don’t have that problem they updated the parts with the facelift + also have a 15 Q5 and It’s doesn’t have that issue.
Audi replaces the pistons under 100k miles. free because of the lawsuit. COntact your local audi dealer and Audi of America if needed. my 2011 had the pistons done, never had issue after that. The biggest issue for the B8 is timing chain tensioner...
2.0 TDi ?

@@Yungdieseltv bro check your IG DM
Where did you get the rear lip from ?
I got it from ebay
The link is in my diy rear diffuser install fail video
Did you trim your bump stops?
No I did not.
@@Yungdieseltv I am running Bilstein B8s with H&R springs on my Q5 and the forums were saying that trimming about 1.5 inches off the factory bump stops is recommended otherwise the ride is rough. Check it out as this may help your ride comfort situation.
Thanks, I’ll check it out bcuz also have a Q5 but more than likely I’m gonna switch to coilovers so i can dial it in more precise bcuz the back sits way lower than the front I’d like to even it out especially when i get my wheels
