I got a fatal injury to my neck last night when I slept on it wrong. Then I got in a fatal accident on my way to work when I tapped the car in front of me in the parking lot. The driver of that car was mad and we got into a fatal confrontation where harsh words were spoken. As a result there were multiple fatalities at my job when several people depending on me being on time had to cover for me.
Obviously, if you "got a fatal injury" you'd be dead. Fatal means "death-causing." So, I suppose that's your ghost talking for you! IF you got a fatal injury, you're dead, whereas if you were in a fatal car accident, and anyone in any of the vehicles is killed, it is called a fatal crash.
I got brutally worked on a 8-12ft day on Seal Beach southside. Required two fusions C-3 C-4 C-5 in the neck and L-4 L-5 S-1 fusions in the lower back. Hardest thing I've ever had to come back from. 4 yrs later and still working on it but not 100%. 😀🌊🏄
That was a whopping neck and spinal injury, SSS, We hope you totally recover to the highest percentage you can, but you may always have some pain in the area, fusions can have scar tissue around them, and they require you to move your back or neck in a different area than you did before because the fusion may not give; I'm sure you know all that by now. Seal Beach can be treacherous, but then, any beach can if the waves are monstrous, which usually means a big storm out at sea somewhere. Good luck to you; try to keep it as limber as you can without causing yourself too much soreness!
Thanks for sharing this. I always wondered why you never hear about anyone getting hurt. I mean the power of those waves is enormous and shallow rocks or reefs add to the danger.

Dudes don't have a cervix, Jamie! He had a cervical injury, which means neck, as in below the head where your nose and pie-hole are located!(Cervical injuries can be terrible, they can mean paralysis from the neck down in the worst ones, i.e., paraplegia or quadriplegia, meaning, loss of use of your arms or arms and legs.) And that is tragic.
What causes these serious injuries? Is it stuff under the water (like a reef), running into the board, hitting the water or just the force of the wave?
Water can feel like concrete when you slam into it - imagine a bellyflop but 10x worse when a wave lifts and slams someone back into the water. Water is merciless.
I had a stroke whilst bodyboarding, on my board on a wave without a leash on. Damn that was a heavy day. Only sixteen at that time. 17 years after still surfing and boogie boarding. Just enjoying it more.

@@tooibarnard5926 sorry to hear that. I recently had a bad concussion in the surf and my life has totally changed. Horrible experience I wish on nobody. Not knowing whether this will get better or not is hell.

Brave people! I mean, it looks violent and terrible - but how can you break open your face on the water? How does that happen? I'm glad they all recovered!
Actually it means a wall of heads. Warring tribes in Tahiti many years ago - one tribe murdered many of the men from the other tribe and made a wall from their heads.
There are literally many TONS of water in a wave! It's heavy and if it crashes down on you, you are going to get hurt and/or sent to the bottom! (Those facial injuries are usually caused when the person hits their surfboard.)I was jumping swells in about waist-deep water when I was a kid, about 9 or 10. A big wave caught me and rolled me along the bottom all the way to the shore! I was sand-scraped, and okay, but it scared me. Later, I was a life-guard at the beach and we saw a lot of wave injuries (we didn't have jet-skis to help us then). People forget (or don't know) that waves come in sets of about 14 and the 7th wave in that set will be a bit bigger than the first 7, and the 14th will be biggest! People everywhere underestimate the huge POWER OF WATER! (Even 6-8" of fast-moving water CAN knock you off of your feet when you're trying to wade through it!)I lived right above Maverick (not "Mavericks" like so many call it) a big wave that breaks just south of Montara and north of Half Moon Bay, Calif. long before it was well known to surfers, and there is a rocky bottom where that wave heads to the cliff on shore, and I saw a lot of people wipe out there, get hurt badly and a few drowned!
Does the person that uploaded this realized none of the surfers died in this video so where is the fatal surfing accident fatal means they died none of them did
I think the title of the video is supposed to mean that "they all got fat after their surfing accidents." Reason is because they were out of the surf for a while, and didn't get any exercise.
@shane marz i slipped off my board head first into the sand. go to my you tube channel and watch my story, i explain drowning etc.... broke my neck surfing part 1.
Injuries, yes, fractures, lacerations, etc, but NO FATALITIES, fatal means DEAD! Fatal anything means something that kills. When a wave comes down on something, it weighs TONS of water and there are bound to be injuries, and then, there's what is BELOW the surf that can damage you also, rocks, reefs, etc. Even being rolled along the sand can cause abrasions (scrapes) on skin, plus your own surfboard can injure you!
wow, was das Wasser für eine Kraft hat, wird deutlich, wenn man sieht, wie die Körper durch die Luft gewirbelt werden. Mich wundert es nur immer, wie diese Jetbootfahrer da so durchkommen!
Okay ~ good vid, click bait title. Stop it Still, how does someone break their hip and still hold their breath while getting smashed around for another 30-45 seconds!?
MISLEADING TITLE! Those were some bad wipeouts but none was fatal! FATAL means "death-causing!" They all sustained some bad injuries but none of them died, thank goodness! (Today, jet-skis are saving a lot of lives because they can get to the victim quickly and then get them to life-saving help!) Broken bones, especially neck or spine or pelvis, can be very dangerous and even some broken bones of limbs can be very bad injuries. ALL of them can be very scary to the injured!
Two questions:
1. What is broken face?
2. Which incident was fatal?.
A fatal accident is when lizzo jumps within 15 feet of you
What the heck??. I must of have been drunk when I wrote this
van wray 🤣🤣🤣🤣
There are bones that contribute to the structure of the face. Most likely some were fractured.
