The VT2 buffs are so simple yet perfect and beautiful. Just like Rose herself♡ But seriously, these kinda buffs like the Dan red fireball one are so good, because they not just fix the problem, but give both of the players more fun interaction possibilities and mindgames, and actually incerease the characters' complexity and fun factor.
It's really cool when they buff certain characters by breaking the rules, stuff like Dan's Fireball, Rose's VT OTG, Juri's VT2 reground, it's not only fun, but makes the characters more unique
Sweep buff also gives consistent distance confirmable link from spaced shp x lp spark which is quite useful as spiral is often a frame too slow You get otg off non CC sweep when close, or afaik from max range if they're in the corner EX air spark air to air also combos into bind midscreen, tho a bit height dependent As a shimmy is + on crouchers which is silly lol Anyway ik these aren't meant to be exhaustive! just a few notes i thought you'd prob find interesting too
f+HK xx VS2 gives her some really damaging post-dizzy routes in the corner. For example, after a forward throw: VS2, qcb+LP, st.HP xx qcf+LP, f+HK xx VS2, cr.HP xx qcf+HP, st.LK>HK xx qcf+MP, dp+MP. The soul punish and the orb hits line up just right to make that all work if you get the timing right.
It was nice to see Rose back. Not exactly a character I’d pick to end the final season on. But it’s cool to have her here with a new gimmick. Even if she kinda sucked in the 15 seconds of fame she got with this game.
Who has the time to recharge health with white card? It's hard to chip in the right time to hold. The best deal is probably to just use it for a second
Yeah it's very matchup dependent and relies on you making time with fireballs and soul punish to keep them busy from afar. I usually prefer vs2 as rose but they're probably about equally good and it's much easier to build v meter with vt1 even just using it as a fireball when you can
I need context lol. If something is 4f startup it means it punishes things your opponent does which are -4 on block, and combos from things that you do which are +4 on hit.
What would happen if Rose's throw during VT2 prevents a quick rise? I figured it would make some sense, but I couldn't anticipate anything else. What do u think, Bafael?
I feel that the throw OTG trick works on players who can't quick rise. Btw, what did u mean when u said "her old meterless BnB"? What was the sequence?

Ok I get it, Menat and Rose play different and I'm not against Rose or anything but Menat feels more like an evolution of her similar style of zoning whereas Rose feels like Rose but with a V-System version of CC and Soul Satellite. More power to you if you like Rose but she's never been a character that sticks out to me as particularly Street Fighter. One of the weirder roster picks to me.

What's the juggle potential of Soul Bind? I've always seen it as an ender, so I wondered if I can do another Soul Bind after EX Soul Bind
EX punish vtc into vt1 on block in midrange sets up an unreactable fireball 50/50
Also Rose gets to OS cMK XX slide after forward throw in VT2 to either get a pickup on no rise or tick throw/frametrap on quickstand

It would just make it so she could always pick up the juggle from throw. It would be pretty strong. Probably not broken though since vt2 is so brief.
